However this is something that is actually happening which makes you the troll. You know what they say don't you

You have to pay the troll toll if you want to get into this boys hole you have to pay the troll toll to get in!.

Also the stress test was supposed to see how much a server/ client could handle ingame, they could have just flooded the login with bots if they wanted to crash it out of the gate. So that doesn't make any sence for the poeple blindly saying thats what its for! All the other stress tests anet has done was like that.

    So yeah.....

Nope, but most major MMOS have a fairly even split between US and EU players, and it's primetime over this side of the Atlantic!

    It's just getting worse.

First people exspected beta's to run smooth as if it was released. The whole idea behind beta TEST is just misunderstood. Well as time goes by, im getting used to it, and even the whining threads about bad beta exsperience doesn't bother me anymore.

But now this comes up? Now the whining about login serveres on a STRESS TEST?

    What's next?

different shifts, summer time vacation, lots of kids at home, stay at home parents, college students, etc..etc... why you are on a forum ?

    Unemployed college student.

I wouldn't doubt that Anet are doing what they can to bottleneck the servers versus their being under stress from the amount of logins from would-be players.

Why is it that every stress test someone comes along who doesn't understand what that entails. Stress tests are not for the consumer they are for the developer. The consumers are guineapigs for whatever tests the developer has planned. They are not for bug finding or preview purposes. Bugs found might be actual bugs or they are bugs created by whatever they are trying to stress.

Geeze, ease up. People are just anxious to play again. Everyone is well aware that it is a stress test. It's also an opportunity to play a really fun game if only for a little while.

Considering how stable the servers were during the BWE, I simply think they are really "STRESS" testing their servers so shit happens now, and not during release in 2.5 weeks.

Which is Server and zone capacity like last time not loging in? That was done in BWE2, I like how people are trying to pretend like this is supposed to be happening lol. Like I said earlier if they wanted to test just logging in they could have just flooded logins with bots.

    /unplugs kettle: OOPS!

    There is NO miracle patch.

95% of what you see in beta won't change by launch.

    Hope is not a stategy.

A.net is oversaturating the servers, i don't know exactly why, but they are.

In game performance seems amazing, no lag, great fps, great gfx improvements, now to see if they find what they're looking for so i can play a bit.

I'm preety sure this is a routing test, it doesn't make sense that there's no in game lag but the servers keep booting people off.

  • I think they put in some new load balancing hardware and their config isn't quite there yet.

Right now they're simulating a high end DNS attack :P

Self-pity imprisons us in the walls of our own self-absorption. The whole world shrinks down to the size of our problem, and the more we dwell on it, the smaller we are and the larger the problem seems to grow.

Yeah, for the brief time I was at the character select screen, I noticed I was getting 60 FPS when it's usually locked at 30.

Nope.  Granted I can't play the stress test because I'm not at home image

People seem to be having connection issues.  This is the point of the stress test though so ANet can get the kinks out before launch.
