ok im confused about about the opening time

in Guild Wars 2
https://www.guildwars2.com/en/ looking at the count down timer here says 1 day 4 hours..i thought it was opening up midnight tomorrow night?

    From what im aware it will start at 8am saturday morning although they have said they could open servers upto 3 hours early so thats 5am...early night for me friday.image

    yea im on the east coast in florida...so the timer must be wrong because its listed as a 3 pm release lol...which would be awesome if i didnt have to work

    This guy lives in florida, 

    Headstart Access will officially begin at 0:00 AM Pacific time (GMT -7:00)

    by my recollection this would be 2:00am in florida I think you are GMT-5:00

    BUT!!! Arena Net have stated they may turn on the servers up to 3 hours before hand so you'll be looking at 11:pm on friday

    The headstart launch begins at 3am est on saturday for eastern players and 12am midnight for those in the pacific. Arena Net did state that the servers could be up 3hours earlier because this is such a big launch.

    Headstart officially starts at 0:00 PDT on the 25th.  Which is midnight pacific time between Friday and Saturday.  They have reserved the right to open the servers up to 3 hours prior to that time which is 9pm PDT on Friday.

    Release times for EST:

    3 Day Headstart: Attempting to open 3-hours early at Midnight Friday, planned for 3 am Saturday

    1 Day Headstart: 3 am Monday

    Release: 3 am Tuesday

    ill clear things up eastern time would be offical start time at 3am sat morning but could be up as soon as midnight. I am central time so the math was easy =P

    quite a few ppl still see a weird time, its not just you but I was thinking about this last night.. have you cleared your cache for your browser? I really dont know if it'll help but its worth a try or just remember 12-3am =P thats YOUR time..

    Mine says 1 day 15 hours and 45 minutes. Plus, it looks like you took that at midnight (its 11:15 AM right now EST), make sure your computer's calendar is set to the right day (it might use te system time).

    nah havent cleared anything.its all good.wouldnt have been able to play til saturday morning anyway..unless they do roll it out 3 hours early like they stated the may do

    Check your system date and time, your PM instead of AM.

    Will be interesting to see how they handle the load. Some games have become quite good at launch--lag and crash wise--hopefully the recent stress tests played out how they wanted and we are good to go.

    Aye, I'll still be hitting the login button periodically starting around 6PM Est tomorrow, just in case they happen to be extra nice and let us in even earlier, lol.
