zones "past level 30" seen and another round of misinfo debunked. good times.
If your posts had a bit more actual content to them, I wouldn't have to wish you would stop posting.
A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

AoC first 20 lvls(Tortage) were amazing and then at about lvl 40 you had no content on release.. I have heard rumors that ppl found orr or other zones in the stress test so its debunked..

I don't think anyone participated in them though.
yea but you can SEE content in GW2, so if ppl saw it.. its there
Oh I see, thank you for the explanation. I have never once seen this particular complaint before today though... and it doesn't make sense, since no one has seen anything beyond level 50 really. Comparisons like these seem premature.

Tortage was the starter area from Age of Conan. I remember playing it for its head start and was thinking how great the game was. It had voice acting and I could actually play the game and it seemed pretty good, than you get off Tortage Isalnd (starter area) and into the rest of the world and it was terrible, glitchy, laggy, and just problems all around, and unplayable, for me and my friends any way. So what the guy meant was that GW2 is just fine after the starter areas unlike the Tortage setup. At least thats what I think he was meaning.

it was often brought up how awful and unfinished the higher level zones might be since anet was "afraid" to show them. comparisons were made to age of conan, infamous for being unpolished and bare bones past the first 20 levels in the tutorial area known as tortage.

Yeah, but where is the proof that the sentiment has been debunked? Is there a link or something?

I have seen a few. Others have simply called the game 'Vaporware'.
However, I never thought for a second that these statements were anything other than trolling. I haven't seen a single discussion on whether or not GW2 will have any content. The discussions are all centered around 'whether it will be enough', rather than 'will it exist'.

Go to youtube, WoodenPotatoes. He has posted some video of visiting a few higher level zones. They have been open for the last 2 stress tests.

Ah, ok. I'm scared of looking at them. I kind of want to save it.
Originally posted by Thrashbarg Check Woodenpotatoes youtube channel, he just posted 2 videos of higher level areas. Not linking it for you, too busy watching, lol.
i looked up the videos but i couldn't bear to watch them. i want everything to be new for my silvari mesmer. glad to know that effort hasn't just been focused on the lower level zones that we've been in for the bwes.
I have heard Tortage comparisons from several GW2 sceptics here, which reminds me of the “god of the gaps” arguments, they can no longer claim the content so many experienced in the betas is bad, so they simply assume what we haven’t seen still vindicates their position, pretty desperate and arrogant really. Why would Anet who have a strong veto on the release date and are relying on word of mouth after launch sabotage themselves? They are not incompetent, so it’s an accusation of fraud based on no evidence.

Because Tortage, in AoC, was the intro zone, and it was amazing. Then as you leveled up to other zones, it became quite clear how badly the game started to show.

(EDIT) all ready answered I guess, lol.

the debunking i was talking about was actually the rumor from a few days ago about the endgame content possibly not being in the game at launch.

did you play today? every dungeon, every zone is open and playable. go look on reddit for dozens of videos and hundreds of screenshots.
WP got me into Guild Wars. He's very talented.
oh btw, that concept art of the city built into an iceberg? not just concept art anymore.
well its not orr but its pretty cool =D
go to Woodenpotatoes youtube channel and watch his first two vids.. SPOILER ALERT though
i don't know why you'd be upset to see concerns of a a game laid to rest.
On a certain well hated online forum, there has been plenty of leaks of higher level contents, specifically surrounding orr.
By what I've heard, there's been no mentioning of lack of content at that level.
Try again later?
