Able to log into the patcher?

in Guild Wars 2

Hi all just pre purchased the game and downloaded it.  On the patcher screen it says to login email and pass.  I keep trying mine but I get an error saying either a event is not going on or this account is not allowed to play.  Is everyone else recieveing this error.  Only reason Im checking is since I just bought the game and never had the chance to play it before.

 

Any help would be great

    That's because headstart doesn't start for 11:05 mi, however the current speculation is to try in 8:05 min

    If it patched then you're good to go. It will magically work tomorrow morning ;) (or whatever time of day it is for you in about 11 hours!)

    The game is not available to play yet. It will become available around midnight PST, possibly 3 hours earlier.

    Great  thank you, I wasnt sure if my account updated correctly or if everyone else is recieving this error and was able to play the betas.  Hate to find out tomorrow something is off with my account and trying to fix it then

    As long as you can log in to https://account.guildwars2.com/login you're fine.
