I'm starting to think that whoever originally coded stuff no longer works there, the code base is a mess, and whoever is trying to work with it now can't parse what it does.

    Well, it was supposed to add a new powerset too, right?

    Except that got rid of everything everybody had in their banks, so they rolled that patch back.

    It was supposed to add a new archetype, not a new power set.  It was supposed to add several powers.  But still, an 812 MB patch that wasn't even supposed to do all that much broke a bunch of things and forced them to roll it back.  Which meant another 826 MB patch to revert the game to the way it was.

    It is admittedly a problem, but Cryptic will fix it eventually.
