I have been playing for about 4 days now and and I have no fricken idea what level I am. I dont care for this non level thingy I dont care for however this level thing they w ant to sell us But I am not buying it!!! Rnd of discussion!!!!!

Below your chat box, in the lower left hand corner of your screen, your level is listed along with your "effective level" if you are in a zone lower than your current level.
Also, hitting your "H" key brings up your hero screen, which shows your level under your name.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.- FARGIN_WAR

1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.
2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.
3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

I find I haven't paid a lot of attention to my level. Unlike other MMOs where I'd ALWAYS know what level I was, I find I often have to check to see what level I am.
Current: GW2 (almost)
Played: EQ, DAoC,EQOA,Shadowbane,WoW, WAR, SWTOR, TSW
