For those wondering why there are so many negatives about this great game on this forum...
The good boys are playing the game, the bad boys are roaming the forum, they´re not specifically GW2 haters, seems they just dont like MMO´s.
No, really everone that didnt rush the game is still having a blast and spending most of his time in the game instead of on the forums.
Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

and yet you post...
I play and enjoy the game...and yet I post..
as do many others.
Point is,people still post here regardless of their stance on the game.
mmorpg.com community is well know for his beloved love to gw2, people talking about real issues of the game, is not a hater, well it is from a Fanboy point of view. But time will tell, there is really a lot of people who had broght the game and quit after a few days of gameplay, and you know nothing about them posting n this forums.
Guild Wars 2 will have more people quit the first month than most games launch with (including a game like Rift that had a good launch). Thats just because its up there with only WoW and SWTOR in first month volume (NA/EU anyway).
Doesnt mean the game is bad at all, no game has 100% retention, the key is having acquisitions greater, or close to, the churn.
so why are you here?
Philosophy of MMO Game Design
You're the one who jumps to every hype wagon, you did the same with WAR, TOR, now you're doing it GW2. First months you spread super optimism, but then over night you turn around and become completely negative about a game. I remember how positive you were about TSW first weeks, then like a miracle you started bitching on it. You're the last one who should be addressing your posts to people that give negative opinion about a game. Because you will do the same about GW2 in a few weeks.
REALITY CHECK
People like different things...
Yes sure the people who are enjoynig the game are probally playing .. the people who ont enjoy the game are not playing it.. thats pretty obvious..
Now i didnt rush the game infact im 25 and im totally bored of it already... and when people post up things asking why people dont like it or saying its the best thing in the entire world.. ill post up my opinion on what i think about it.. but again we all like different things..
actually the ppl saying bad and good things about this game are both PLAYING the game.
ur argument is INVALID.
You know, Bachus, not all people like the same games.
It is really simple so dont overcomplicate it. I dont like the trinity combat since it usually makes combat rather predictable with people standing still doing skill rotation but other people do like it (and yes, of course I am partial to my opinion).
There is no right or wrong with that. Then of course there are some trolls on both sides trying to whip up the nerdrage (and it wouldnt surprise me a bit if some of them use 2 accounts, one to flame and one to praise). Those people usually are pretty bad informed, the flamers usually have little clue about the game and the lovers who flames other games have little clue about them. Just ignore tham, if noone acknowledge a troll he whithers and die.
Most people on this forum though are like me and can not currently play. In my case because I am not home right now.
What is interesting to me isn't that people are "quitting" or hating on the game (which is normal on these forums if not the internet as a whole), it is the fact that the only two major reasons being cited are boredom or burnout. You don't see the volume of massive articles ripping apart GW2 for game-breaking bugs/exploits, horrific customer service, or massively imbalanced classes associated with many other modern launches.
I don't see a need to polarize opinions so strongly on MMOs, to each their own. I'm enjoying GW2 as I enjoyed SWTOR, slowly working through the experience at my own pace and enjoying the journey. For those who don't like the game, I wish you well on wherever game you end up playing next.
The good/bad boy analogi is not working as it did under bwe's, it have been 2 weeks soon
I think it will be interesting to see where we are heading now that the offical forum is opening up , because so far it has really been hard for thosse frustrated by some of the issues this game had and have to get an outlet.
If anything Bachus, people will attacK GW2 because it is more like a videogame than what their definition of MMORPG is.
You know that amongst gamers, RPGs and especially MMORPGs, always fell in the category of no skill life sucking grinding games.
Currently playing: GW2

For such a mmorpg.com veteran , dont you think your Op is a little on the immature side ?
