Despite the horrible hiccup ArenaNet had with their atrocious launch ad that shall not be named (even though I just named it), this is a nice bit of news. The yin to the yang of the misteps of hiring Madison Avenue.

yeah because people are taking MoP sooooooo seriously right?
I'm sure the launch wasn't smooth but besides trading post being down i had no issues at all, no lag, got DC'd once ( bought on release and played pretty much 3 days straight with 6 or so hours of sleep each day )
Everything just worked for me on Piken square.. Atrocious launch just seems to be pushing it >_<..
I should probably mention I'm by no means a fanboy as the game is already feeling quite stale, but anywhere over a 100 hours in i feel I've had my moneys worth
first 80 dinged and now the game feels sort of pointless.
You still support Blizzard / Ghostcrawler ? i feel sorry for you bro

My wish for this year is Ghostcrawler fired, he almost made Chris Metzen cry when he was forced to announce MoP.

So far I've begun to be placed in overflow again. A good sign in one sense as this means that the game is being bought digitally en masse again.
I'm sorry but if people believe being kept in Overflow rather then a Que, having a total down time of 10 minutes per major hiccup, having random crashes that really take less then a minute to log back in from, or having to take things offline like mail or the AH just because of hackers for a couple of days atrocious launch then they really aren't all that objective in the first place. That's a tad extreme LOL
Oh and while checking your validity by checking your history i came across the best reason to play GW2 EVER "You can play as a salad. That sold me." LMAO!

Yeah, but it will be really interesting to see how well MOP actually will do. Wow usually is a safe bet, but MOP have gotten a lot more complains before launch than any other Wow expansion.
Any bet is still on.
I love this game, and I really do hope, that MANY will leave this game when MoP releases.
Why? Because that means faster WvW queues for me.

Wow, a big name title that was just released only on the PC that was the most played just after launch? I would of never suspected that.

It happens with virtually every big name release. Its nothing new at all to make a big deal of it. Come back if it has "Most Played PC title" in about 6 months then we have something worthwild to talk about.

Every single AAA MMO out there (and especially GW2) is childish (even killing zombies in TSW, i meen c'mon zombies, grow up!)

Did you saw Asuras? Did you do any "quest" or story in GW2? Did you buy any pet from store? Asian style?
And? who gives a flying duck? innovation is not guarantee of fun. As long as game is fun to play everything else is secondary. And that is why WOW is on top for 8 years because gameplay is fun for a lot of people.

Hang on this game has been hyped by the rabid fan boys as being the second coming of MMORPGs. They say its a PVP based MMORPG for PVPers.......
Yet, your experience is that the game feels pointless when you reach max level?
Great PvP MMORPG this is then, so glad I have learnt to wait and see how MMORPGs pan out these days...I almost bought this game based on the rave hype but it seems almost every single piece of hyperbole has been a load of rubbish!!
The game launch was not the best
The only way to level is PvP or rehashed Pqs from WAR...where is the rest of the game? Particularly if you are saying end game feels pointless.....I was regretting NOT buying this game but the more I read on these forums the more I am changing my mind
And you use THESE forums as a base for your decion making? I'm terribly sorry for your loss. But that's just silly. Try reading some honest reviews from 3rd parties(not IGN or any of those guys) but people actually playing and enjoying the game. As they will be able to clearly outline the features for you. If you think DE's are just PG's from WAR then you obviously have never played, seen a video of, or even touched an information about GW2 before. I suggest you try it first. At most you, what, lost 60 bucks? As apposed to losing 60 bucks plus 15(xhowever many months you play) and you can pick it up any time you want after that. Let's try to be a bit more realistic in the approach here. Either that or you're an alt account with 5 posts and these words are wasted.
