Im not really sure if that is real, something strange happened yesterday on gw2. I mean, the population was droping fast even after MoP, i remember primetime with 7 servers full until the 24th, yesterday early morning it was like 11, wait a moment, it was exactly like the server status at 11:47 PM that you are talking about, ok, something is not right here.
Acutally the exodus is real, i logged a few min ago, yesterday at this time i found 11 servers full on NA, same on EU. Now, they dont have a single server Full, is all high and medium even in EU where is pretty much pimetime.

It's not prime time in EU right now - it's work time...

EU has 9 severs on medium for more than a week now even during the prime time.

Same as yesteday when we found around 11 servers full.

I guess people only skip work for WoW expansions and not month old games that they are losing interest in.
People are known to take work breaks for game/expansion releases, what's your point?
Not very impressive anyway... we are the day after the release, and I see a lot (the vast majority actually) of servers on medium or lower...
So not being primetime is the reason that it is fine for GW2 servers not being packed but not being primetime is no reason for WoW to not have every server on High/full with a few medium/low? I'm sure a lot of people bought GW2 and MoP and intend to play both. Since MoP is newer, a lot less of those people are spending time in GW2. I would not call this a mass exodus because not everyone that bought GW2 plays WoW. But imo there are way more people playing MoP than GW2 right now.
I've played since headstart, every day, for at least three to four hours and just hit 80 on my first character recently. One month to cap is a hell of alot better than two days in WoW lol.

I'd like to see you go from 1-90 in 2 days without rushing it.

Exageration on both parts here. You can't get to max level in either games in 2 days unless you are using extreme powerleveling with no sleep, cold pizza and a toilet seat as computer chair.
3 weeks to one month? For a "normal" gamer, which isn't the total casual only playing one hour every other day or the unemployed hardcore playing 8+hours a day, it seems a correct evaluation to me, for both WoW and GW2.
In both games, you can't base your estimation on a minority of people who have nothing better to do than to play video games full time.

i can only talk about my guildmates and 50% of them came from wow and none of them have bought mop. they actually say they are just fed up by wow and not goin back since they have more fun playin gw2.
MoP aren't gaining new players nor old players, most players currently WoW are the ones that got MoP, I know several ex-WoW that didn't go back for MoP.
And yes queue for WvW still takes forever, most zones are full on my server that I still get kicked to overflow. I haven't noticed any kind of drop on my server yet.
As a former WoW player with more than 6 years invested i will NOT be going back. Neither will any of my friends. We've seen the best that WoW can offer. Have beat the best it can offer. Theres just no reason to go back. Even the shiny, new, feel it might give is not enough. How can i go back to the combat system after GW2 or even tolerate the grphx. Dont get me wrong I LOVED Wow, had to having played it so long, but its just time to move on.
I dont see any dips in pop for Tarnished Coast. I have a feeling a lot of people feel the same way I do. I do know some people who will check it out though, but they just started playing WoW in WOTLK. So its kinda still new for them, with all the breaks in between. But I anticipate people coming back after a month. I actually think the Rift Expac will have a stronger impact on on the pop. Now tht expac offers a LOT of content.

I think they will have great sales (not as great a previous expansions). I also beleive within the next six months Blizzard will loose more subs than ever before. Why? Because; while WoW is a great game, it is old, played out and people are simply getting tired of it. Blizzards MoP brings little to keep people from getting bored. This isn't to say, Blizzard's WoW will die anytime soon, just that they will start loosing more and more sub's faster and faster and time goes on. You have to remember, the P2P base has been around 22-23m since 2009 and has not grown. The amount of mmo on the other hand have grown exp. which means these players have many more options to choose from. imo

Anyone who claims WoW isn't the easiest MMO on the market is kidding themselves.
I mean from 1 to max level. Not from 85 to 90.
Wasn't the first 80 in GW2 under 24 hours? So by that even if one could get 1-90 in 2 days, GW2 is still the easier MMO to level in.

It has already been said that those used an exploit to level so fast. Sorry, but that doesn't count.
Note that I don't pretend leveling in GW2 is slow - but you can not use cheaters as a valid reference.
Also, as well as you can't count cheaters, you also can't count the very minority of hardcores who won't sleep, pee or poop until they "finished" a game. The vast majority in GW2 took 3 weeks to one month to level at least. Actually, my guild is composed only of adults with a family and a job, and we have 14 level 80 out of 81 members.
That's true for both games by the way, GW2 and WoW. What mister hardcore in his mom's basement does isn't the reference. The reference is the "normal" gamer with a life, which is also the vast majority of players.

Not technically. GW2's leveling time balances out very early, whereas it takes much more XP to gain levels in WoW, particularly from 70 to 85. That would make WoW easier to level in. Again, techincally, if you base it on time.

^ This There are 50+ B2P games on my hard disc. I can play all of them at the same time.

4 hours.

I've just looked at these stats.
Out of all MMO's WoW is ahead with 46.4%
GW2 is second with 25.5%
Then hours played;
WoW - 66364
GW2 - 36490
I don't understand X-Fire though, because its a load of crap and it's hardly used, but it looks like WoW is in the lead by far?
