Question about Journalism

So I am thinking of majoring in journalism. My sister told me that it is the easiet major there is, but that isn't what I want it for. Basically, in time I want to write for a video game magazine or online like at IGN. The question I have is any one here a journalist or tried but dropped out? If so please can you tell me what the classes are like?

    My bro is majoring in journalism so this is based off of what Ive heard. Its a major thats as hard as you make it. If you wanna go big and make something of yourself it takes alot of work, but if you want an easy job you only have to work to meet that level. I cant really tell you much about the classes, except to not expect them to be easy.
