MMORPG.com is partnering with Perfect World Entertainment to answer your questions on their upcoming free-to-play D&D MMO, Neverwinter.
We'll be collecting questions from you in the comments below throughout the weekend. We do ask that you keep your questions focused on the topics discussed at the NYCC panel and/or The Foundry (user generated content).
Feel free to submit as many questions as you like -- but remember to be courteous and civil or you can pretty much guarantee we will not use your question!

What are the restrictions on player count for Foundry created content?
Can we build zones/dungeons for solo characters as well as duos, trios, and full parties etc.?
How much customization will we have over the layout of the map (structure) versus just the placement of objects on the terrain?
How complex will AI scripting be? Can we create semi-intelligent NPC party members? (Think Dragon Age style party roles?)
Will we be able to customize and/or add/replace the skill/ability set of monsters, NPCs, and boss mobs?
Will we be able to add custom dialogue to our generated content/characters and what will the filtering/approval process be?
Will loot and experience gains be normalized based off of the difficulty and count of enemies i.e. budgets or what?
Can we feasibly "level up" to max and beyond (gear) in purely user-generated content or is the Foundry end-game only?
I'll think of more...
Will there be any store/money based restriction on creating and/or playing foundry content?, STO currently restrict it.
Will the Foundry on release be the final version or will it be improved as the time goes on?
What guys mentioned above, try to get as many foundry details as possible
Gamepad will be supported ?
Real open world ? Seam-Less ?
When the beta will be out ?
What rule set will you be using, or are you using a modified version of 4th edition?
What will be the max level and is there the ability to multi-class like the classic table top game and what are the experience penalties if you are multi-classing.
Will there at least be a server option for open world PvP?

Is there any Epic classes?
are any class or race specific mission? (like "rogue or elf only"...etc)
What are the "ending game" contents, i mean when someone maxed his/her character?
Possibility of ownling a building, like shop or castle?
Battlefields and siege battle?
Pretty sure they said PVP will be come after the release.
Here is your answer your question.
Andy Velasquez: Well Neverwinter is not exclusively a D&D 4th edition rules game and we draw inspiration from all of the different versions of D&D. For example we have things like Magic Missile as an ability for Control Wizards which is incredibly evocative of the D&D experience regardless of which edition you are a fan of. Our use of At Will, Encounter and Daily powers obviously draw directly from D&D 4th edition but we did that because we liked how it fit onto what we were trying to do with combat, not because we are beholden to a specific edition. For example Healing Surges, another mechanic from 4E, didn’t really work for the game we were making and so we did not implement it into our game.
This.
That was before the previous delay, which was to work on PVP so it would be in release.

Just how in Depth is the foundry system in terms of customization options?
Will you be able to create more advanced content such as possibly entire continents for an adventure or is it more reserved for individual dungeons and small scale adventures?
How will balance be achieved with the foundry isn't able to be exploited for personal character gain while also allowing for flexability to crafting your own experience?
Will the foundry have any cost associated with it, or will it be free for players to mess around with ?
Will custom sprites/textures/models be able to be added to foundry adventures?
Will there be any 'perma-death' options for characters to appeal to the more hardcore crowd?
Are there plans to expand upon class options or possibly add user created classes or abilities at some point?
Will I have to pay money for lootdrops in any way? I dont mean just lockboxes, I mean is there any loot that will drop that requires me to pay real money?
