Best mmorpg/rpg for Halloween?

VicodinTacoVicodinTaco Member UncommonPosts: 804

Well, it's that time of year.  In the north east it's overcast, cold, hundreds of thousands are without power and it's halloween eve!

What game are you playing to celebrate the season with?

I have myself here a whole box of reeses peanut butter cups and Diablo 3.  It's got ghouls, ghosts, undead and exploding corpses around every turn.

Another game I was thinking about booting up was some Oblivion or Skyrim.  It could get a little spooky out there if you were in the wilderness exploring an old garrison or castle packed with undead.  Another option I think might be TSW.  I have the game but put it aside just cause there's been so much stuff coming out.

Battlefield & WoW, like any other day.

How does one celebrate Halloween with games? I might not get it, living in a country that doesn't celebrate Halloween.

One game I found quite creepy and gruesome was Manhunt 2 on the Wii. Play that at night with all the lights off :)

    Where's the any key?

It's not unlike watching Christmas movies such as "It's a Wonderful Life" when Christmas Day comes around. Anyway, a few MMORPGs are having Halloween themed events such as GW2 and TSW. Hellgate (F2P revamp of Hellgate London) is still around.  Dead Frontier is fun if you are into that whole zombie survival horror thing.

There are tons of good single player RPGs for Halloween. I like  "Alan Wake" as I really enjoyed the story and atmosphere. The Dead Space Games are also great if you want sci fi scares.

Remember they are just scary games. Cut off the lights. Cut off anything that might distract you from the games. Run a small fan somewhere behind you to circulate the air so you'll feel like your moving around when your character does. And remember, no pants messing.

    Have fun dude.
