    This is the closet thing to vaporware I've seen.

     

    That being said maybe they are truly taking their time to make a huge world that will immerse us for years to come.

    I wouldn't worry about it.  The game is not that great. There will be plenty of better  mmo's all coming out in the next year that you won't have time to play this japanimation title.

    I wouldn't worry about it.  The game is not that great. There will be plenty of better  mmo's all coming out in the next year that you won't have time to play this japanimation title.

    There are no better MMOs coming out next year or the following for many people

    As long as I've been following AA, I'm surprised it's taken this long to get any solid info on Western release.  Who knows why it's taking so long?  

    If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.

    I don't see any other worthwhile mmorpg in west next year. TESO? Neverwinter? GW2 expansion? No they are not better for me.

    Well they already told us they they hope for us to get a first view of the english version at E3 next year so that should have already given you an idea that there was no way we where going to see the game until 2014 at the easliest..

     

    There is still no reason why we wont get it in 2014 as there will be a totally different team working on the chinese version.

    At this rate you'll be playing EOC waiting for AA to release.

    Damn it....Another country getting frontier that isn't us...I know a lot of people wouldn't care to get it.

    But being the MH fan that I am. I'd pay out the ass for it. If I had GW2, PS2, AND frontier?! Dear god would my wife be mad at me all the time...

    Really? Which one? Can you provide a link? I really have not heard about any great game in development since years?

     they start OBT in December, or  begining next year, so not such a big wait to see what the game is about.

    AA and Black Desert - only promising mmo in development for me.

    I worries about the game coz many of asian projects take their places in EU and US too slow. 

    Do u remember TERA ? 2 years for lacalization. If AA takes 2 years too , is gona be so old :/

    Even tho they are producing content and releasing it in record time for nonsub game title, they don't need it really. I and many like me have plenty to do still ;).

    Not really that interested. Was waiting hard core for wushu. Would love to see Archeage but lets face it, most companies really aren't worried about quality or logic anymore. The greed factor has taken over too many of them.

    Now I am itching to try the game out too but we have to remember the game is first and formost a game marketed to and developed for the Eastern audience.  Some of the stuff they plan on doing will not go over so well here in the west and as such I think they are looking to capitilize on their market share first.

    Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!

    Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!

    Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

    ArcheAge will probably be a great game, but I too feel like they will be too late with the release of the game.

    When game is not purelu combat oriented like most mmorpg's and aside of sandboxy systems also have many themepark things like big questing content it just takes loooong time to develop it.   Simple as that.

    If you want big complex mmorpg's then you will have to wait a long time for them and it will also be more noticeable that they are in development for long.
