NetMarble has announced that the latest Uncharted Waters Online chapter has been successfully deployed. According to the press release, the new content brings the West Indian Company and other buildings to help boost profits, skills and experience from colonies, among other things.

  • New Pets - Exploring the colonies alone is a scary proposition, so Uncharted Waters Online has four new pets to bring along, the regal Siamese cat, the protective coyote, the cuddly Calico cat and the dainty Persian cat.

if the combat (out of ship) was more interesting, i'd love this game to death. otherwise it was really good though. i never hear ANYONE talk about it, so it probably doesn't get the credit it deserves...

I agree, I played for awhile and it was pretty fun. Not enough to keep me for a long period of time but was it fun while I played it.

Having several expansions released over the course of seven years helps with that.

Also, on the title, it's "Tierra Americana".  Expansion names are all in Spanish for some reason.  Even in the Japanese version of the game, which was the original.

This patch grabbed some random things from the Japanese version that weren't in the English language version just yet and added them.  I'm guessing that the next patch will add Japan and Korea to the game, at which point, we'll nearly be caught up to the Japanese version after starting five years behind them on content.
