Aventurine needs to make a formal apology

As people can see, the voices have spoken. We can hype you, and we can also trash you. It is time for Aventurine to give the users a FORMAL APOLOGY for the way they have been acting. Not an apology for delaying the game, because we ALL understand that. We want an apology for the way they are acting, and treating their VALUED customers.
We helped them greenlight Steam in 2 days, we helped them hype the game on here to #1, we spread the word for them, bascially giving them free advertisement. How did they repay us? They spat in our faces, then tried to lie and blame others for the delay. We don't care for your lies anymore Aventurine, we care about honesty. You guys then throw beta at us like it will forgive you.
Well guess what Aventurine, you need OUR help yet again, by beta testing your broken game. You lie to us, spit in our faces, then tell us you will give us beta when you PRE-ORDER your game? Seriously? Is this justification to you? Is this how you think it will all be okay? Well you are wrong, I hope eveyrone out there declines loging into your game come Monday, until you give us all a formal apology on the way you treated us. We pay your bills.

A formally happy customer, now a customer that isn't mad, just has enough self respect, and not give to poops about your game without an apology.
P.S. There are many games coming out that can, and will compete with Darkfall.

Who the hell cares if they apologize. (they already did yesterday anyway)
They just need to be closer to the community and for the love of god, get more organised.
Don't worry, they'll apologize. Pretty much in every update they post, they apologize for something. To them it's just like saying "hi" to a random person you happen to walk by in the hallway.

How many mmos could have done with more delays before launch - war, Aoc & lotr spring to mind immediately, I bet those devs wished they had baked their games for a couple more months.
Back in the day i liked you relaxed way to stay on top of the situation with AV and with a mildly criticism Kyle. That was when i was a supporter.
How things turn, now its you who goes out of your way to support AV. I really wish you have good experiences with AV but lets be honest, even your first one , the "launch" ...went somehow the wrong way.

Well, to be fair Kyl, asking someone to to apologise other a failed promise isn't unreasonable I think, though the drama here is way out of proportion to what I think the event deserves for sure. It's just a game... But hey, some guys get emotional about this stuff.
Earthrise is still going though?? I thought that was long long time dead? And what other games are in competition with DF in it's niche aside from MO?
Their are other option that have FFA, player bountys, clan warfare, best items in the game crafted by players. You make a blade then you need another player to make the hilt.
Building and clan land owenership which can be lost through clan warfare. No classes or levels plus a prison system and public beheadings for rampant PKers.
Vast world and no safe areas plus an offline system that leaves your character in the game once you have logged off. You become an npc who can man your stall or do things for your faction gaining cultivation points. This leaves you exposed to kidnapping by PKs and sold into slavery for cash, the more powerfull you are the more reward for PKers.
See, you got your apology lol. That's AV for you. But apology is all you ever get from them lol.

I never understood the concept of someone asking someone else to apologize to them ? If you had to ask for it why the he%% would you want it ?

Thats true. And the player can decide if they want to support a company that acts that way.
So the question is, can we (the player base) eat and have a roof over our heads, without DF:UW. Dos this work for AV aswell without us?
Greece must be a funny place to be atm, if you loose your job...that's the way life works.
What makes this all very funny is the fact that it doesn't matter if one or two people who get mad at AV for doing this, most people are still going to buy the game even if they are upset. All these people who lowered their hype, told AV to #^@* off and they would never even look at the game again are going to be the first ones clicking the button to buy the game. SO maybe a few won't be, fine be me, less whining people in the game when it comes out. I don't care if the game doesn't come out for another 10 years I will still get it because it is the best game out there. Fast paced, thrill of losing what you gained, community with one large massive server, sieges, alliances, and huge fights where you rely on your friends to be the best to win. So if you want a really cool hyped game that has a schedule and listens to what the people want and is a sandbox that will change a million different times because the public wants it, I hear Archeage is on the top list on this site. If you want carnage, deciet, PvP to the max, and a company the doesn't care what whining people who want everything handed to them, than play Darkfall.

You might be right by the HC fan of Darkfall. But AV sure lost more then 1-2 new ppl with this move. Time will tell if they succeed with this attitude.

the problem is av doesnt have an attitude. they said they gave us th einfo as soon as they got it all together means yea if you dont get it i cant help you
You can't play an apology, so no thanks. Besides, empty apologies are just as useless as empty promises. I think it would make more sense if players become more sceptic about Aventurine. Some of you want to believe so much that this time it will be better. Well, fine believe it. Aventurine has shown nothing so far though to support your belief. It is all just based on talk and promises.
I suggest to take a step back and just do something else while Aventurine tries to get their act together.
