Black Eye, A new Modern MMORPG Where Roleplay is key

Hi,

I am Black Eye's Head Game Master of storyline, and making sure people find out about Black Eye

Unfortuantly, Freepgs who was hosting our website, had a fire and we lost almost all our hosting. so our temp forum website located at www.blackeye3d.com . There, i will have information regarding it

We are developing currently, and expect to begin stress testing and closed beta testing in late 2005, early 2006.

What is Black Eye you ask?

Black Eye 3D is based on Black Eye 2D, which was created by Cibermonster, and showed to the players of Face of Mankind, another futuristic MMORPG. You can be a Citizen, and make money and become rich, but RP more than fight. You can join the academy, and enforce the law to the Citizens of Black Eye. Or you can be a Thug, make a gang, and work for a terrorist web engulfing the city. Your choice can affect the ending of your side, remember this is a mmorpg where RP is Key, not Fighting in a FPS state.

    is it true Black Eye wont have any fantasy crap (and monsters) in it??

    cause that would TRUELY make my day...

    I've been playing Fable... checking out EVE online... WoW...

    but never really found what i was looking for...

    Black eye is based on a some-what futuristic world which is modern, with futuristic hints

    Unless your some image and you seeing demons and monsters flying around then you won't see em here.

     

    P.S. Doesn't mean we wont add a little surprise ;)

    It sounds awsome, but it also seems boring, unless you can pull it off, it sounds like more of a tradeskills type of game. Hmmm im definantly going to try and watch it tho, and i need a notepad like tigertunes image

    the surprise will add action, fighting the guts outta each other will help

    New guy (player) entering the gigantic futuristic-city gates (which have a quite a touch of demolition on them) walks over to a guard wearing super-heavy powerarmor. "So what is this place?" "This here is the city, boy. It's kind of a mess these days after the "event" in 21xx." "And what was that?" "you don't know? You must be a stranger around here not to have heard. Oh well.. the story begins with the government, they had been doing "shady" business with the mob for years, and they were real deep down in it when they couldn't handle the expences any more. So the mob leaders sent troops to liquidate the city, and the government mobilised their forces to defend, and now the city looks like this, but were working on rebuilding what got ruined. If you'd like to give us a hand for some credit you could go talk to <insert name> over at the headquarters, he might also give you a longer recounting of the "event".
