the annoying thing is the game isn't even worth it. Only reason I'm tempted is if the population gets back to the way it was at release years ago. The combat and movement is a load of crap.
£30 for a dead game ain't no fun

Since I played DF1 there was no reason to not try DF UW. Besides that I would still blindly buy it since I stand behind the philosophy of the game. Sandbox MMO's are most exciting MMO's out there IMHO. So now after pre-ordering I'm going through the whole redesign they did on the UI and I must say I'm very impressed. I would still play the game even if it had the DF1 UI or combat but now it's alot more action orientated and the UI just looks way more modern and up to date.
Like the above poster, can't wait. Population will be insane the coming months, it might die out yes but it will be a hell of a few months!
Maybe because the dollar is going to trash just like the euro. So it doesn't matter. You could think it might though.

Actually the euro price is the game + 23% vat. 22,88 + 5,26 = 28,14 (current exchange rate) , so you re complaining about around 1,80 euro difference.
But iam not 100% sure about the 23% is correct , i think i remember a blog post from AV back in 2011 were compinsated a increase from 19% to 21% for the players. As you now the situation in greece this change monthly.
