I'm in need a Low Spec MMORPG that I can really enjoy. I want it to have a nice in depth crafting and have a lot of different skills and doesn't focus only on combat.
RuneScape. Really low-spec and it has huge amount of non-combat skills and activities. I've resubbed 2 days ago and so much to do...you can play this game for months without even wielding a weapon. And you will have a lot of fun meanwhile.
Salem's animations are sluggish, Earth Eternal I couldn't even find the site... is the game still up? And RuneScape... I've played that on and off for 7 years. Great game but in all honesty it's just not what it used to be.

you want low spec AND smooth animations? Earth Eternal might be called Eden Eternal now.
Play Darkfall Unholy Wars. Its a new game coming out, and hopefully it will take off unlike last time, It uses true aim oriented combat. But on top of that, it has a expansive crafting system. Resources are important in Darkfall Just like it was in Ultima Online. Anyways, check it out!
Ken Fisher - Semi retired old fart Network Administrator, now working in Network Security. I don't Forum PVP. If you feel I've attacked you, it was probably by accident. When I don't understand, I ask. Such is not intended as criticism.
Ryzom came out in 2004 but prob need something like a 2007 comp to run good. Has one of the best ever crafting and harvesting systems to this day. Also its F2P for a long time if you want.

How low of spec?
Also, I wouldn't consider Vanguard to be low spec. Requiring an SSD to avoid hitching is basically the opposite of low spec.

The lowest I've seen in terms of hardware requirements are GW2 and Shaiya. Neither are crafting oriented.
Maybe Larsa's List of Sandboxes would be a goold place to look.
