That's Almost as bad as "Revengeance" in terms of naming a game.
C'mon, how can you back a game when the Dev's cant even think of a good title, makes me worry about the imagination behind this one...
Actually "Dangerous" comes from the original Elite games ranking system Dangerous was third rank from the top rank which was "Elite" Deadly is the second highest.
Update 33 was released earlier today with Frontier confirming that they have £25,000 in pledges from PayPal. With the Kickstarter pledges at £1,492,000 the second stretch goal has been reached.
That means a Mac version is confirmed (for release 3 months after Windows) and a total of 25 ships.
They also plan to release expansions containing planetary landings (only much improved upon what was in FE2/FFE), and humanoid avatars.
Plus to coincide with the release of the game, there will be numerous books published/written by talented fans and professional writers.
Six hours left to pledge on Kickstarer, PayPal should be availale for a while yet.
Funding really exploded in the last few days. A lot of people probably wait until the last minute to see if they really need to pledge at all or upgrade what they've already pledged to make the project happen.
All we need now is that the game doesn't suck when it's released.
Kyleran: "Now there's the real trick, learning to accept and enjoy a game for what
it offers rather than pass on what might be a great playing experience
because it lacks a few features you prefer."
John Henry Newman: "A man would do nothing if he waited until he could do it so well that no one could find fault."
FreddyNoNose: "A good game needs no defense; a bad game has no defense." "Easily digested content is just as easily forgotten."
LacedOpium: "So the question that begs to be asked is, if you are not interested in
the game mechanics that define the MMORPG genre, then why are you
playing an MMORPG?"

Because I was blown away by the second game all those years ago.
I think the title has got something to do with Frontier "lacking the immediacy of Elite".
Remember, younger generations don't know much about the previous games. They had to pitch it to the fans.
