They got everything right, except...

De-sync.  You know, that thing where the mobs and your character are not actually where they appear to be.  Just lost my marauder to desync during boss near end of Act 3 (Kole?) so maybe this problem feels more detrimental to me than others, but it's really the only "feature" of PoE that I despise.

Here's a clear example where things briefly get out of sync and then return to normal:  link (video is 1yr old)

I love just about everything about GGG and PoE, but the fact they never corrected the de-sync issue is disappointing.  Have you died to de-sync yet?

I've yet to run into this issue, no de-syncing for me as of yet and I've been playing for a long while.

I actually almost feel like it's smoother if anything when compared to the beta, visiual wise I mean. I don't know if they changed anything in the aspect but it feels different.

Happened once to me in the 2 hours I played.  The game is good and great considering it is free.

@halfmystic - It's more visible on melee characters.  I especially notice it after taking Resolute Technique since I should never miss.  When I'm clearly standing next to mobs swinging at them its hard to write off those odd misses as accuracy troubles anymore.

@BigWaagh - No doubt PoE is great (especially for free), but for a game of clicking at targets I would expect those targets and my character's positions to be reliably displayed.
