I know the site probably just puts up whatever the developer wants as long as it gets paid, but these Scarlet Blade ads are pretty bad. "2013 Most Anticipated MMORPG" isn't even an accurate claim.
Show some class -- and dignity -- and be a bit more selective on what you choose to advertise.

This site is made for ALL things related to MMORPG's, not just the games YOU enjoy. These Scarlet Blade ads, as well as the game itself, might suck, but it's still a part of the genre, so why should they refuse them the right to advertise on here with their money?
You might think them stupid for doing it, but as a business, they'd be even more stupid not to accept these ads. I doubt this place is cheap to run.
The Punisher... The Whipper.... Take the killer Quiz and find which girl is right for you

I don't think anyone has any issue with the game being advertised here, but rather with the content of those advertisements.
I know how to fix your problem, all MMORPG has to do is charge a monthly fee and allow you the option to disable advertisements, hehe. On a more serious note, don't let the ads bother you, MMORPG is a free service to you and they need to make their money as well.

IDK... The Scarlet Blade ads are what they are. If nothing else they will get people talking about the game which is a win for the advertiser. I admit though, that I have already coached myself on how to explain to family members that I am not visiting a japenes toon porn site if they happen to walk in while I am reading the forums at MMORPG.com lately. Nor is the tissue box nearby related to fapping (you now, masturbation) as I honestly have a cold (shoveling snow.) Kind of funny though. I mean I had to prepare explanations before visiting the site to use the forums.
As someone who occasionally browses at work, it is getting a bit out of hand. They allow me some freedom, but I don't need this kinda crap on my screen at work.
For the first time I am thinking about blocking all of MMORPG's ads.
To a passerby, the iamgery isn't that much different from an AION, Tera or League of Legends ad.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

I haven't posted on the forums since 2007, but I had to come on here and see if anyone else had been thrown off by these latest ads. I understand this is the main selling point of Scarlet Blade, and while I don't really mind the mature content of the game (I do mind the sexism), I'd rather not have these ads plastered everywhere.
Two of these in particular I would say are Not Safe For Work: This one, which shows two seemingly underage girls completely naked with the tagline "Cozy up to a mature fantasy MMORPG." Almost as bad is this one, which looks like an advertisement for an actual hentai porn magazine.
These ads themselves don't do anything to advertise the product, and makes MMORPG.com look like a porn site. If anyone saw me browsing this site at work or at a university, I would end up in trouble. Please think to make sure that game ads are safe for work before making them the most prominent feature of your site (even more than the content, but that is another issue).

Weee Playboy ads!

Whats all the fuss about?
I bet most people complaining about this were on their fav smut site earlier today whilst doing themselves a 'favor'.
That's not how internet adds work. When you have a site on the web, you sell add space on a sort of auction basis via AD company's. Who ever the highest bidder for your AD space is, puts what ever add up they want to put up. The site it's self has little say in what the people paying for the ad put up there.
They can revoke their add contract with the company, but that takes time.
So its OK to talk about their vaginas ? who will start ?
