I just recently tried the free version. I realy did not enjoy it...but that must be very dissapointing to the ryl players who did it for the sole purpose of winning the million. Any lawsuits?

This is the 1st time I've checked this game's forum. My God, just from I've read in the last 30 minutes, you couldn't get me to play this game with a gun to my head...

I can't belive anyone would actually belive that such a sub-par game would acually give away 1 million dollars...
I mean, I would like to belive that there are intelligen, informed people out there... But then I am reminded of P.T Barnum's great saying: "There is a sucker born every minute." Really people, you think a game company that produce such a bad game can afford to give away that much money... Geeezus People wake up and smell what you are stepping in. It freakin marketing...
Actually they didnt even make the game, they are only licensing it. Which means any new patches & bug-fixes come from the owner (which is some asian company).
yes it is suspended not cancelled also ive seen x factor make some refrences to it very vaugely but they all lead to it re opening when patch 1660 come out.
I doubt this 1 mil prize ever coming back. Like drachonis said, it was just a marketing ploy. I played this game for a bout a week, and its a very lousy game, lots of bugs, lack of content, lack of anything realy. Its just a crappy game. Might of had some future if there were more races, more quests, at least some solid storyline... I dont think even such a behemoth as WoW could afford a prize like that.
I am the type of player where I like to do everything and anything from time to time.

check out the current server news on the ryl official forums... the tournament is done. so pathetic... this game and all of the people involved, from gm's to owners, are basically losers. the original ryl1 was fun. ryl2 was a nightmare. they tried to compare it to WoW. let's see... WoW has like 100 servers... ryl2 dropped to 2 servers. they scrapped 1 of the 3 races, went from 6 maps down to 2 maps... nobody really played except for gm's, admins, counselors, and their friends and family. so where was the million dollars going to come from?? they claimed that they themselves (pwg) spent like 30 million developing the game... total lie (check out the early press releases). they just license and did not develop crap. the tournament was all b.s., just like the company, the game, the patches, and all of the support staff.
p.s. anyone who used to play remember the dumbass that got the ryl neck tattoo?? what a piece of trash.
