Lots of folks claiming fail already, lots don't like the no PVE, lots seem to thiink DAOC failed?

    Define Failure?

#1 Incase you hadn't noticed...and I'm sure most of you have not, but DAOC is still up and running, still has very active RVR zones 24/7, and is still making $$.

#2 & #3 Just because there will be no PVE grind, or shiny bullshit that people fight over in game....the same shiny purple, orange, gold, whatever con digital capital that many people seem to rage about in games these days, certainly does not mean a game will fail.  It is my opinion that this might actually make this game flourish....maybe flourish more than the folks at CSE and Mr. Jacobs are even prepared for.  See most of those who actually know what a community is within a Community, or what having some pride in your team, win or lose, or actually know how to interact with other people through a portal called an MMORPG, and know what a group is, have been waiting for this for such a long, long, long time.  We have been to the top, we've seen what a game can be, and then along came WoW, and the aftermath that has ensued since.

It is so closed minded to state that anything will fail, online or not, before something is tried.  We as a race did not get to where we are now, by not failing, furthermore by not trying.

Old games charged 2$/hour now you get the same entertainment for an entire 30 days for 50 cents per day. Find me cheaper entertainment. MMORPG subscription prices are about the only thing in our economy that hasnt risen 300% since a decade ago.

You're really going to ask someone to find you entertainment cheaper than a subscription service in a discussion about pay-to-play versus free-to-play?

    Flawlessly executed strawman.

Nope, this game is not meant for Raiders / PvE'ers.

    PvP or GTFO!

Let's hope it can compete with TES since this AvAvA seems to be their model too (sub based).  Seems like a lot of $15 a months to spread around.

    Which to play?

If I have to explain it, you wouldn't understand.
