Ranger Class - when?

A MMORPG without a Ranger class is no MMORPG. Since there are multiple discussions on what google spills out, I have to admit that I am not uptodate whats going on in this game.
Is there any info when they will add a Ranger class?

Before I can take this thread any seriously, I would like to be pointed to the official source where it's defined that a mmo without Ranger class isn't a mmo.
Otherwise I'll just assume you're trolling and treat the topic as such.

They are planning to add ranger/warlock very soon. No, there is not any official information when they will add those 2 classes but it is believed that we will see them in the official release (not open beta).
Rangers were definitely needed in EQ , you needed a class to be the Jester of the group.
I am almost 34 years old, I have been gaming for 27 of them. I don't need a link "official or unofficial" to tell you a fantasy based game should not be without a class that solely uses bows/crossbows/arrows/slings bub. Especially a D&D game. If anything you need to stop trolling.

I think theres a good probability they add in either 1 or both classes that were datamined over the course of the beta tests and confirmed to be in development by Andy Velasquez sometime around the 60 day mark or when the Drow is released.

Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

2) If you haven't played any Fantasy themed games in 27 years without archer class, then you've played very few games.
3) Ranger =! Archer. Expecially in DnD, where the most notorious Ranger of the setting hasn't touched a bow in his life. (hint: Name starts by 'D' and ends by 'rizzt'.)

If you havent read about drizzt using a bow, then you have not read all drizz books....

Too bad the first Ranger class to be released will be melee based if there is any truth behind Truthseeker's post whom I'd take over than any leaked coded material.
And a release schedule is utter worthless, just like how the Ranger class was originally scheduled for launch? 60 days after launch sounds a bit presumptous to me, who knows what issues they will have at launch.
The Ranger class was never scheduled for launch, and I've never seen any post indicative of a melee-based ranger.
Go through Truthseeker's post history on the official forums, who is a mod there who all know some additional info that what is publically available, its there if you are so inclined.
For those that actually followed the game since its inception know full well what the original 4 classes were, and Cryptic has even officially announced it but due to whatever issues they had with the ranger class it was postponed to post launch.
People are citing Archer Ranger on the sole basis of some leaked coding of gear slated for an Archer Class, and it's not even for sure a Ranger, but will ignore some more substantial sources because it goes against their optimism. Everything is speculation at this point with neither being an absolute.
And people called me a nay-sayer when I said that PvP WILL be included at launch in the posts in the official forums before a full out official announcement that is just a repeat of info made available to the community before any major announcements.
I'm not inclined. I know who Truthseeker is, he and I were both on the official forums long before he was even elected a moderater. And I've never seen any such post. Even if there were such a post, Truthseeker hasn't made any posts on the forums for at least a month.
Again, if you can find anything indicitive of a melee-based ranger, I'd like to see it - even if it is 8 months old, and much newer information says otherwise.

Yes they are working on ranger class, there were rumors of two types, the melee only type and the ranged only type, no word on either or when. "Just after launch" is all I heard Zeke tell Totalbiscuit.
There may be a delay because I think they are revamping how the class leveling system works entirely which is a big job.
If it is something like this, it would be cool!

While TS'er is a mod, he is a community member first and he has no inside information. Its been said time and time again that the first Ranger is going to be a Archer Ranger i.e. a Bow user.

Personaly im a little sick of ranger classes, But alas I played one for a LONG time now they seem boaring and ussualy a bit easy mode (Thinking wow & aion here) I guess im sick of my once loved class howver maybe they will comeup with somthing new or that interests me.
Either way i do enjoy coming up with new and exciting ways to "kill huntards" as the kids say
