Tier Boxes And Rare Loot

Tier boxes are pretty much lottery tickets to rare weapons. I go through the color coating system Defiance has in place as well as what tier box will get you the highest chance of a legendary weapon.

    Thanks for the vid.  I know there was some debate when the game first launched whether tier 3 or tier 4 gave the best chance at Legendaries.  Glad to have a bit more info on that subject and I'm going to check out your other vids when I get the chance.

    Got an orange pump shotgun out of my first lock box (I think it was tier 4).  But guess what!?  It disappeared from my inventory, along with the purple assault rifle I got from finishing the episode mission...

    QQ I know..

    Well I personally have gotten 4 orange legendary machine guns and they have all been from tier 3 boxes.. I have piss poor luck with tier 4 boxes. RARELY I may get a purple from tier 4 but usally its blues and greens.

     

     

    Hmm more to add here...

     

    these have been over a wide level spread from 270 to 920... 

     

    ALL 4 have been machine guns...

     

    ALL 4 were below par compared to a purple of the same level damage wise

     

    lol P.S.S I've tried giving these to guildies and nobody wants them.. go figure

    I just spam buy T2 boxes with decent success. The chance is not high enough to waste 64 keys on a T4
