Population on US and EU Servers?

kartanakartana Member UncommonPosts: 148

I'm currently downloading the game but I can't decide what server I should play on. Normally I would say EU, since I'm from Europe, but I'm not sure if there are enough players. With the TV series and advertising only targeting the US and the potential that the TV series will keep players hooked to the game etc.

Can anyone help me here?

EDIT: I play on PC.

I thought there was only one server.

I'm in EU too but joined the NA server on PC , note that you can also create a character on the EU server too , so you can be on both , incase populations decrease etc. On the 360 version I am on the EU server as that's the only choice atm , they are adding the option to create a character on the NA server in the future.

    Cheers,

I can't really give a definite answer to your question but from my own experience, the US servers tend to be decently populated whenever I log in and I haven't had any issues with long co-op queues any time I've tried.  Major arkfalls have people still coming out in droves and it's rare that I tackle an area objective missions (don't know what else to call them) without at least a little help.  That said, I have noticed that as many people have finished the main and side missions, the starting area isn't as populated as the merchant and quest hubs closer to the Golden Gate.  It shouldn't pose a problem when starting out but it's worth noting.  Other than that, I don't know what your hours are so maybe someone from Europe can give you an idea of how populated things are on that server.
