    Is this the trailer that makes the game fun?

    A sure sign that you are in an old, dying paradigm/mindset, is when you are scared of new ideas and new technology. Don't feel bad. The world is moving on without you, and you are welcome to yell "Get Off My Lawn!" all you want while it happens. You cannot, however, stop an idea whose time has come.

    I got in at beta and despite all of the problems, I liked it at first.  Then it hit me that there's really nothing to do but pvp conquest, and I got over it.  To keep me around long term, there needs to be a lot more going on in a game, especially if the game is charging me $15 / month.

    Yes I agree PVP could happen at any time, but if you play smart, you can avoid PVP. So far I'm crafting, exploring, going on fishing trips, going on PVE raids with the clan, digging up treasure with maps. Sometimes things are peaceful, other times we have to fight for control of an area. I'm looking forward to building up our city, running dungeons and seiging. So yeah, while PVP and conquesting are a big part of the game, some of my favorite moments in Darkfall are when I'm with the clan and we are not PVPing.

    I Think you are Wrong. There are tons of dungeons, you Can build a City, conquer the sea, do feats, craft, High end pve, lot of StuffIt.

    There are plenty of things to do actually. This is not a themepark, you can make your own goals. For example, build a ship, try to become a high level crafter, get into a clan and raise your PvP rank, complete feats, explore the world, get rich, build up your character, find a house, etc.

    If you are expecting to just chill on your chair while the game does everything for you then Darkfall is not your type. I suggest you look into World of Warcraft, Guild Wars, Star Wars The old Republic, Elder Scrolls online, etc.

    This game is doing GREAT atm. VERY good population.

    Yeah the new trailer is grea! I was in the defending force and it was fun to help out. Looking forward for a more smooth performance when it comes to 400+ players in the same area though. Glad we could help out with that one.
