Fans of Ragnarok Online 2 will want to head to the game as soon as possible. RO2 is now officially in retail release as of 3:00 p.m. PDT.
Ragnarok 2 is a fast-paced, 3d fantasy MMORPG, where friends can make parties, groups can make guilds, the friendly can express themselves, and the powerful can battle for top spots and rewards in coordinated PVP combat. About a week ago I made a thread about looking for a anime mmo and afther doing research I decided to wait for this. Are there 2 different versions of this game?

The second link mentions locked out regions, so I'm guessing it's a licensing difference between the two links/companies - one covering certain areas, the second covering other areas (and not overlapping distribution areas).
The first impression video that's just below your post mentions regional restrictions (though not IP blocked, yet), so this might be the way they are getting the game to every region.

The first link is the SEA version and the second is the NA/International version.
i got the warp portal version, had it installed, patched and all ready to go day before launch. However today after work, tried to login to start the beta, woops another patch, not big either..... failed to patch part way through, now stuck at failed patch, it starts to patch then keeps failing part way through.
Now i am having to try redownloading another 4GB install off overloaded slow host site, doh
after trawling the net heres how i fixed it so the patch worked
For those having problem with the game client and syntax error:
Step 1) Please attempt to flush your DNS before you try again.
How to flush DNS:
1) Click "Start" button on Windows taskbar
2) Type "CMD" and press enter. You will see a black window pop up.
3) Once window opens, type "ipconfig/flushdns"
