    No such thing as hardcore on a game, its a play style. Anyways it looked like they were killing off noobs. though since I couldnt see the levels I can't judge.

    But ive seen better, much better, pvp on other games, but this is still pretty good.

    I think it's the objective of your past self to make you cringe.

    Me and my guild have been playing Shadowbane since its release. This video of so called PvP is just a group of guys killing lower level players, people away from keyboard and maybe 3 or 4 people cought up by surprise/off guard while fighting the highest level mobs-monsters in the game. N-Unit is a racist group meant to be a joke on their part, The (N) word. You got to love it when guilds that suck at PvP make a video that makes them look uber. The topic of this thread was This is real PvP. The thread topic should have been how to roll lowbies and look cool at the same time.

    Thank you for re-enforcing my opinion that PvP should only be reserved for FPS, RTS, Sports, and fighting games. That was duller than dirtwater. I especially liked the whole TWO attack animations that each character had. Interestingly enough, if it hadn't been for the numbers floating out of the combatants, you'd never know that any blows had connected. It looked like a bunch of retards standing toe to toe and pantomiming vague swordplay motions.

    Seriously, your vid was beyond gay.

    My charactor, that was being attacked, was level 70 (same level or higher than them).

    Most of the lobie ganking I see in the video was "staged" stuff. Irekei War Camp is a high level PvE camp that PvP happens at ALOT.

    Sybok was my Channeler, and I think we won that fight (they edited that part out...).

    Player vs Player, not Realm vs Realm.

    This is not my video. We were on teh receving end, well, they died so..

    I just can't stand looking at SB.  Everyone says it is good pvp and it probably is.  I just don't consider excitement and pvp point and click movement.  It just can never be hardcore pvp when you don't even have control over your guys IMO.

    Your mind is like a parachute, it's only useful when it's open.
    Don't forget, you can use the block function on trolls.

    UO was point and click to an extent, and most people say it was the BEST pvp game ever back in the old days.

    Point and click is rpg, fps movment it fps.. and shouldnt be in a rpg. I pulled my hair out when i first started playing shadowbane because of the point and click, now I think its superior, especially after playing WoW and reactivating DAoC a couple of times. Leave fps in quake 4 and ut2k4, and out of rpg's, or atleast give us a CHOICE and not lock us into one type of interface. Then you will see the point and click players owning these fps noobs.

    And what was with the strutting at the beggining? It's a freaking MMORPG, characters should not strut.

    They werent pking lobies(except the canned scenes). There was several scenes of equal level fights, in which one of them my guild was there, fighting them (and won).

    Borfis likes to make a new level 1 char and slaughter it for the camera sometimes. Its a movie, that they were being creative with.
