That comes to $1094 before $30 in rebates. I'm not sure how much shipping costs.
If you want to compare my build to that one:
1) I picked a much cheaper but still plenty good enough case.
2) I picked a substantially better processor.
3) I picked a vastly better motherboard.
4) I picked an aftermarket CPU cooler rather than just the awful Intel stock cooler.
Points (2), (3), and (4) also mean that if you later decide you need more CPU speed, you can overclock the processor.
5) I picked cheaper memory with better specs.
6) I picked a substantially better power supply that is also much cheaper.
7) I picked a better, but also more expensive video card.
8) He picked a slightly better but also more expensive SSD.
9) We picked the same hard drive.
10) I included an optical drive, which he neglected.
11) I included an OS license, which he neglected.
Adding an OS license and optical drive brings his total to $1035, as compared to $1094 for my build. So mine is a little more expensive, but for that extra price, gets you considerably better CPU and GPU performance.
Go with what Quizz picked out for you--those are very solid choices... and get it from NCIX.
I have been buying almost exclusively at NCIX for more than 15 years. I live in Vancouver so it helps that I can just walk in and pick things up. They price match newegg or anyone else so you can get it all at one place. Check prices at Memory Express, Newegg and Canada Computers as well as NCIX... one of those will have the lowest price for a given component.
Assembly and testing by them will cost you ~ $50 but you can sometimes negotiate that down if you talk to a live salesperson.
