WoW film to start shooting in 2014

The film based on World of Warcraft will begin shooting in early 201, producer Charles Roven told SlahFilm.

Roven served as producer on films including man of steel, the dark knight and many more. Roven said "first quarter 2014 we`are going to shoot the movie" "we`re moving forward. Obviously, Legendary is making that film and i`m having a great time with Duncan [Jones]"

Thanks 4 your time.

Ever since 'panda's', i could care less what WOW, Blizzard or any producer will do with anything associated with WOW.

Panda's? really!? oh man, I'm still laughing here and haven't stopped since I heard about that addition.

I hope the movie takes place before WoW.  Maybe the War of the Ancients or something.

Or during wrath of the lich king.  That was WoW's best storyline so far.

I know, right? I mean it's not like cow people, purple elves with ears that look like insect antennae, dog people, or space squid / goat crossbreeds were at all silly and whimsical or anything. But pandas, OMFG! That's just going WAAAY TOO F*CKING FAR!!!

    /sarcasm

Oh and BTW if you'd actually watched the Kung Fu Panda films, you'd realize that they're actually very well done and certainly enjoyable by people of all ages. Well, people with decent taste in film anyway.

It's a sad day indeed when a family is too afraid of reprisals to publicly thank somebody for saving their lives.

Kung Fu Panda movies are great. I can't wait for the 3rd one. Only if the WOW movie is as good.

So what you're saying is that you're twelve years old, because if you were older you would remember Warcraft 3 where the Pandaren Brewmaster made his first appearance. Panda's didn't just show up in WoW from nothing.

This is a problem with younger gamers today. Schools should teach gaming history 101 so that children don't go around spouting nonsense more than they already do.

On top of that the Pandaren Brewmaster was a hero in DotA!

So I wonder if it will be 10 minutes long from beginning to end game heroism.

I think World of Warcraft and many other games have great stories that could make good movies but it will no doubt be a disappointment.
