This is my personal opinion, if you don't care of it, please us the ignore list. If you think I'm a sick pervert (i'm female btw.) Ask me if I care then use the ignore list..
Through a "FREE AP DEAL" I signed up to an on-line casino, deposited US$10.00 and got $40 of AP (4214) for the trouble.
I bought the 'underware unlock'. Sure it shows nice breasts (nippys included) but in the pubic area it showed "fish scales" (kinda appropriate LOL) and all the way up the anus area. I had a better view of my backside wearing my lvl 5 suit.
The game is rated 'M' 17+ and they censor this?
There is a game called 2nd Life that is also rated 'M' 17+ and has actual pornography with avatars copulating. Sex videos in full view and avatars being more than 'anatomically correct' , hell, you can even BUY (for in game currentcy) a very realistic male or female genital area..Now if it (2nd Life) was rated XXX I could understand why SB is censored..
But they have to hide this in SB? Its obvious the "M" 17+ rating allows much more.
If they are selling sex they should not do it half-way
EDIT: Aeria reason for it from thier forums "You shouldn't play naked and we hid the area so there were no complaints of 12-15 year old seeing a fully detailed vaginal area"
WTF is a 12-15 yo doing playing a 17+ Game...Come on Aeria..get real
OH! and just to annoy another poster who commented on it..Why no golden yellow blonde hair colour?
Cheers
Never understood it myself, granted I don't play this game but if you're going to go for it you might as well go all the way.
I've noticed two things about the people on MMORPG. They are quick to ban and overly conservative. With that in mind, you can still poke fun at them just have to be more discreet about it...like DA/DT. :-P
That being said, I do agree Athena. The premise of the game is 17+ yet their reasoning is underage kids may see it...what in the hell. I'm just at a loss for words. Another game looking for a niche market that I will not ever get into.
I will never support freeloaders, no more subsidized gaming. My Blog
Looking at the screenshots of the Korean version of the game, I see the underwear-under-the-underwear (Pantcenption?) is there as well. It's likely that bit of censorship is a result of the developers complying with Korean law and no efforts were made to decensor it while porting it overseas (particularly with a market as sexually conservative as America).
In short, Aeria mods didn't know what they were talking about, as if that wasn't evident enough given their lack of professionalism.
Doesn't it take some of the enjoyment out of it when 90% of the "girls" are indeed basement dwelling creepers?
It is amusing though, considering that there are plenty of games that feature the same kind of hyper-sexualized women, they just don't use that as its selling point so they don't get flack for it. My only complaint is that the gaming industry is sexist in that few games give you the option to also play hyper-sexualized males.
Whoever the real audience is, it's obvious that the gaming industry does target (straight) men specifically. And lesbians I guess?
Played: DAoC, AC2, WoW, CoH, GW, GW2, WAR, AoC, Champions Online, Rift, Dragon Nest, Vindictus, Warframe, Neverwinter, Dungeon Fighter Online

Hang on a sec...let me go google 2nd life and ill get back to your post.
Yeah the tone of the game is ridiculous, but sadly this is not the worst F2P I've played, neither in terms of variety, combat, nor dialogue (which can be amusing at times).
2) If all you want is T&A then you can surf the web, no client needed (beyond the usual browser)
3) If you're aiming more for T&A on the virtual social level of ERP, I guess you could do worse than a virtual game where you run around as a girl in lingere.
Generally I just wanted to note that this thread is just coming off as awkward. You as the OP feeling the need to reiterate that you're a female lesbian generally is just screaming one of two things. That you're a G.I.R.L., or that you're generally just looking for the rabble.
Either way, it's trying too hard. Often both opinion and fact can be presented without you defining yourself, and it's actually quite often the better thing to do. Removing yourself as an individual from the equation means the person can only consider and address the material present.
Unless it's a matter of qualifying that you are not talking from a stance of inexperience or speculation, listing your qualifications only becomes something equivalent to an appeal of false authority. When talking about matters of gender and gender bias, it's equally beneficial to not arbitrarily disclose one's own gender for no apparent reason other than to justify some unspoken sense of distinction.
It's rather particularly why I tend to use the term one or I when I refer to myself. If I have to make a comment on gender bias, I clarify my gender orientation only in the context of it actually being necessary or furthering the actual conversation.
Most other times it can be considered entirely tangenital, and pressing the point repeatedly only creates a sense of desperation, regardless of if such is truly the case.

her opinion is as valid, as yours,,even more if she is paying for the game
using all those fancy words, without any other substance , than your own feelings, just make you look
I got to about level 17 or 18 and the novelty of the game wore off for me. To be fair, that's when the novelty of most mainstream MMOs wear off for me.

Technically you do.
It's always sad to see people that know so little about their own bodies.
Oh well, that's a whole other thread.
