Too bad MMORPG.com won't grill Andy for all the fucked up shit that happened and still exists in NW.  Be all brown nosing with no aggressiveness.

Asking legitimate questions and being aggressive are not the same thing. Go watch my last few interviews. You can ask tough questions and not be a dick.

So, what is it that you want to know?

I'd like to know what's up with the ridiculous cash shop prices. That and if they ever plan to maybe with later updates and expansions add content that isn't instanced to high hell. These are some of the things that make it hard for me to support the game.

You could always phrase the question. Andy, how do you feel about claims that prices are too high for items in you Zen shop? Recently you backed off of the 4000 mounts and turned them into 3500. Can we expect to see anymore price corrections like this?

Something like that? Also Torvaldr I had planned on asking your first few questions already.

Well, I didn't really think my question was rude. By today's standards even $35 for a mount is expensive in an MMO. Some MMOs offer a $15 subscription a month where you get all the mounts too boot with it with no extra cost.

Most free to play titles, mounts range from $10-$20. I do believe that Neverwinter Online is being driven by Perfect World to have such prices because Perfect World's other titles have overly priced mounts too (some cost $50!).

Could you please ask them about if they plan on changing the Dungeon Delve system?  Cause right now groups rarely run dungeons outside of DD events, I would love to see them change the DD event to reward more AD but keep the chest there all the time.

Speaking of Dungeons can you ask about any current plans to fix dungeons to be actually accessible by the average pug?  Right now the bosses are extremely easy but its just wave aftaer wave of trash.  To me this is not fun and when you have 1 person (Usually the TR) the only 1 damaging the boss but it takes 4 others to handle massive adds it seems counter intuitive.

    Thanks.

The chat in Protector's Enclave can get crazy.  I don't want to /ignore or report and mute the traders.  Do you have plans to address chat and servers?  Sort of related, there are three servers now do you have plans on merging them so we all play together?  Could this help alleviate the chat deluge in PE?  In GW1 the top two instance channels are usually heavy trade channels and the others less so.  Could combining servers possibly solve the crazy chat?

Also very good questions I'd like to see asked.

+1 to Torvaldr. Around when we can expect new classes or new paragon paths to the existing ones, and in the light of some slight price correction with Live, are they planning to revisit the respec mechanics? :)

I know, we can always accumulate ~200k ad and paying the respec with that for free... but I love to goofing with the skills / feats, and presently theorycrafting is heavily hindered in Neverwinter. I admit, probably I'm in with only a tiny minority in this matter :)

Def ask about when they are adding Warlock, no one likes how limited we are choice and build wise.

    Mod Edit? Hello? lol

Love how stuff like this slides by. If you use words like vagabond though....you get your post deleted. lol

Anyways for Grakulen....how is Neverwinter improving its PvP?

MMORPG Gamers/Developers need a reality check!

You could be in the minority, but I don't think so.  Or I would say I think there is a reasonable number of people who like to experiment that are discouraged from doing so.

I'd like to hope that too, but as you too mentioned the Zone chat, based on that the average player doesn't really care about the feats, just following the cookie cutter forum builds :)

And while it's not our job to give them design ideas (especially since I don't know the % of income they expect from respec), maybe they could steal methods from other games... in AoC for example you pay for the retrain with ingame money, but it gets more and more expensive after every retrain - so you can buy a token from the Store which resets the retrain cost.

With it they could still sell the tokens, but also could encourage the respeccing. I'd love to try a real control wizard, since those are Opressed by the truckload of Renegade Thaumaturgists what everybody is playing :) but 6 bucks just for trying it out... no thanks.

Edit: apologies, my bad but last time I checked the prices was weeks ago... seems retrain token is only 300 Zen now.

Just checked the live launch announcement, it was on the list as well. Among the cosmetics, maybe that's why I missed it. 300 is not that bad I guess, though a few retrains for gold still would be nice... :)

Most of these questions will not make it. I quit due to the outrageous prices.

I can handle the high prices, even though I didn't like them but I am on the verge of quitting because theres nothing to do once you've amass a full T2 set on all 4 of my level 60's.  Granted most of that was purchased on the AH because the PUG system is really horrible and it's much easier to grind out Rough Astral Diamond or run a couple of the only pug friendly T2's and hope you get wanted set pieces that sell high.

Other then the new content and new class what I want to see is:

    1. A reason to run dungeons outside of the DD events.
    2. Tune Dungeons to be easier for groups.
    3. remove the complexity of the dungeon bosses from countless wave after wave and onto the boss itself.
    4. rewards for running Foundry Missions

Just want to know if they can fix the crazy monetization design.  Too many currencies to keep track of, what were they thinking?  That hurts the game more than anything else.  They could cut their cash shop prices in half and make more money.

Asking a question like 'furbans' is a top of the list legitimate question that gamers must know the answer to, who on earth would want to play a game where the dev's don't care about exploits.

@grakulen ... any interviewer worth their salt would know about the exploits he is implying about.

    -          Do they have plans to create challenging solo dungeons with a chance to drop rare or better equipment?

    -          Can they add a chance to drop better rewards for completing challenging foundry quests?  Perhaps a foundry difficulty rating system can help.  Or perhaps Cryptic can create a few foundry missions with sufficient challenge.
