This is akin to having a security for your apartment complex:
Victim: Hello, I am a resident in apartment 42, my place just got rob, I am sure of it because I cant find my wallet. Can you help me on something?
Security: Wait a moment, let's me take a look at the camera's footage and I'll get back to you.
60 minutes later...
Security: Door to the apartment complex is locked, Gate is locked, Nothing happen from the outside. It just that there are a lot of movement for furniture, TV, computer from one apartment unit to another. Asides from that, I don't see what is the problem and I can't tell you which apartment units all those belonging move to. It is not my problem to help you in anyway. Have a good day.
That's pretty much how it turns out with GM's response and this same guy told me that is the right response from Snail and we should all accept it.
fixed for You, like others wrote, snail HAVE to inform players about any data leak, so on their "cam log" they would see it, even when Your OS/game crash You have logs of it
@Lovely_Laly thats a joke right? Few years ago when fake webs started to pop up, I wrote mail to Blizz that I got mail asking me to log on fake Blizzard web , and they should write about it on their forum before some one who wouldnt notice will give info about own account. Like 3 days later they reply, We didnt ask for any account info, have a nice day. It looked like generated mail sent by bot.
Actually, I don't need you to fix it for me because you omitted the very fact that Snail has logs about transfer of money from that account to another. I also like to thank you for telling us that hiding everything about transfer is considered normal for you.

I play Nexon games for 3 years and thought they were the worst. However after playing Age of Wushu for over 3 months, I can finally say SnailUSA is on another level compared to Nexon, they make Nexon looks like a decent company.
1, "Switch and Bait" tactic, Snail has done this TWICE. The first is Elite package with permanent horse that said to be TOO POWERFUL, then gave people the worst possible horse after media outrage. Then they took over half a month VIP timer out of Deluxe package and basically force everyone who paid for it to spend all theirs time in BETA TESTING. They said it was "miscommunication" on advertisement, this is a clear case of FALSE ADVERTISEMENT.
2. They have a horrible customer service. All their event rewards from in game and from purchase gold, not everyone get it and they would delay responses for months before they said "It has been too long, we can't confirm it". Look at the forum, people keep asking when they will recieve rewards.
3. Their response to hacking is "It's your fault, deal with it, not ours problem". People got hack and most of their money transfer to another account, GM basically told them in the face that "not their problem" since it was player's fault despite the hacking come from site affliated with event via Snail. Snail would allow hacker to take your money and would do nothing about it.
4. Communication suppression on the forum, if you talk anything negative about the game, GM will either delete your posts, lock your thread or even BAN you for saying anything negative about the game. I myself talk about how horrible their response with the hacking since my friend got hack. The result is 7 days IP BAN.
5. The game client is over 1 year old. In fact it has been confirmed to be the same version Snail used to BETA TESTING in Chinese server. All the bugs/errors are the same and they are BETA TESTING it again now with paying customers. This is clearly a milking tactic to release contents as slow as possible while making people pay for their BETA TESTING of the same bugs/errors that they already fixed in China version.
6. The game has terrible translation and UI problem. The translation is the same as using Google translator for quick translation. People have been telling them since CBT1, but they think they can fool people into paying for CBT2 with the promises of launch, but then they have "delay launch" later and forced everyone to pay in BETA TESTING. It doesn't take a genius to figure out the game is not ready at all. However, Snail seems to think every players is stupid enough to believe them. Snail never intend to release the game on Feb.1 or mid-March. They just want people to pay for their BETA TESTING with all the bugs/errors that they already fixed in the Chinese version.
Just like PWI, Snail will be another company I will avoid. I have set aside my doubt and to try a game manage by a Chinese company, but their actions just leave me in disgust with deceptive market strategy and the way they run thing. Age of Wushu is a decent game with lots of potential, unfortunately Snail will ruin it with the way they do business up until now.
The game is in BETA testing. shame on you for spending money on a BETA test. Not sure what else to tell ya fella.
If you want a new idea, go read an old book.

The problem is even by Feb.1 as the previous release day, the game is not ready by the long shot. In fact anyone who play this game now over 3 months after CBT2, which over 1 months after previous release day. They all can tell you this, the game still not ready at all, even at Apr. 10, it will not be ready with the current update progress.
Edit: If you asked people when CBT2 start Dec.20, "Will Age of Wushu be ready to launch on Feb.1?" Most people said NO.
Now, if you go into the game over 3 months later and ask "Will Age of Wushu be ready to launch on Apr. 10?" The answer is still NO.
Best game on the market for the lowest price. After a year full of $50+ dollar flops shoved down our throats by million dollar ad compaigns, It's easy to praise AoW. Heck it feels like the right thing to do.

I did search on Google for quests Cata WoW, and link sent me to gold sellers web. =( Time I realize it, was too late, I got key log (and not used anti spy as though I was vary fast, so no risk). My account got hacked. I contacted GM, found what going on (few hours later I had guess : it was because of pushing site), so after like 3 days of constant work with GM (I got several issue with my account, one of my alts was deleted etc), Blizzard fixed and restored all! I never got such chance with any other game even for smaller issue, so thanks to Blizz service again!
try before buy, even if it's a game to avoid bad surprises. Worst surprises for me: Aion, GW2
thanks for this post, OP, I'll never touch this game or any other running by Snail.
sorry but I can't get how you could pay 10$ to play beta with junk company when you have polished WoW for 15$ with best ever helpful service?
Lol, everyone knows WoW sucks. People are sick of killing 10 wolves all day every day, playing simon says with rigid pattern bosses, and hopping around with cartoony characters against a crayola inspired background.
or many f2p you can drop when they start to be after your money (don't wait for any service, get fun and run out =D).
to all Snail defenders, and to be clear I nave played this game and never would, just got similar issues with some others cheap junk providers:
by your logic, guys (at least you want me to name every one), if my car got scratched in a public parking it's my fault as I never should park it there?
Are you saying it is the city's fault that someone scratched your car in one of their parking lots?
or if I got abused as girl it's my fault too - I should cover me when go out or, better, stay home.
That's a messed up thing to say on a gaming forum. I hope it is due to your poor english skills, for your own sake.
or if someone take your money but not provide you with service or goods it's your fault, you should never pay them?
When you try to make victim guilty of what has happened it's no more free democratic society, but anti-human dictatorship where only slaves can exist.
Question is: why to be slave of bad company even providing good game? I guess such company need at least to be ignored and not deserve any penny from our pockets. I would prefer to attacking them in justice but nobody yet created relative legislation.
Sorry for you, OP, but seems all you can do is stay far from this game and keep posting more about how bad they are, so more people will avoid same errors.
Why would you encourage someone to post about how much they hate a game over and over again? Why can't the OP just move on and play something else? A lot of people enjoy Age of Wushu as a very unique game amidst a see of shitty WoW clones. It's hardly pay to win, it's a pay to reach the cap a few days faster. Hardly worth it in a game with offline training. Age of Wushu should be looked at more as a subscription game due to the benefits VIP offers, but buying gold isn't worth it.

Snail may not be winning any Golden Stars for customer service but it is a great game.
Also to say Snail is the worst game company after the Sim city debacle is entertaining. If a company was to be declared worst company in the world for failing to satisfy a small minority of customers who were unhappy or having issues with their service, every company in existance would be closed down.
Age of Wushu has its issues. That much can be said. It's difficult to translate from chinese to english and the non-western world seems to accept the rental system of ownership of everything from in game clothes, to the bags you use (Yes, your bags wear out in 720 hours and then have to be replaced). There are no permenant mounts (they also wear out) and even a subscription does not change the rental system. The game seems complicated until you get into it and I highly recommend you join a friendly guild and ask nicely for assistance on understanding why the quest you have failed 17 times in 24 hours why? and then find out you were not actually supposed to fight the mobs in the mission, just escort a guy all the way to the main boss who he will personally beat to death for you. You will find a lot of griefers (western and otherwise, not sure why veitnamese players are in the american version of the game) who will stop you when you are in a group team practice and kill you by knocking you off a cliff into water when you are afk/offline. But there is a good community within the game. The community includes many people who care about kungfu and to me this game plays like saturday morning kung fu theater (my age no doubt, the younger players would have expected "the kung fu channel" LOL).
Personally I am ceasing my play on my account and going to just keep my skills leveling in case they create an option for an affordable permenant mount, bags that dont disintegrate over time, and other ways to get my money. I would HAPPILY subscribe to the game, but I dont want to spend my already limited play time going to market to replace what I expected to be on my character - it did take me 4 days to figure this out, but I was excited about the game and its basic history. And dont get me started on the cash shop where you rent costumes for 30 days for $30 (whole set). Oh yeah, non-subscribers are limited to one hour of game play a day. Again, I dont see a problem with that part if I am not going to have to become a crafter just to support my character's basic needs. Food, you have to buy or you will not regen energy or hps.
Good news, plenty of f2p mmos to fill my time while I look around and wait. Shame, I was excited about Wushu til I got wind of the reality this morning. Still am hoping for Snail to understand the western mindset.
Btw... I have reported to the GMs through the bug reports every mispelling, bug I have encountered once I have figured out what the real issue was and they took my report happily. Everytime I felt like I was treated with respect. I know they have some issues, but the in game GMs seemed like they are providing good service.

Bags should, horses are questionable. At the same time you can buy all that stuff ingame. I bought my horse for 450 liang. There's no reason you can't make that in a month.
This is a key problem with AoW - people are so used to being coddled into mindless grinding that no one takes the time to actually figure out a game before spouting off whatever.
Yes, I realize that for whatever reason - US players dislike timed items. There's no real great reason behind it, just that when they pay for something, they want it forever (nevermind that it will last only so long as you play the game). Getting a little more specific, let's talk about the bags. The crafted one lasts 30 days. You can buy them for under 10L which should take roughly 15 seconds to make (ie. one kidnapping). Nevermind that there are people in your guild (yes, join a guild ASAP) who are tailors/craftsman who will almost certainly be willing to trade for your crafts specialized mats. If you are a Chef, provide food for the guild all the time - people will notice and a good guild will have players that reciprocate such generosity in kind.
Sidenote: Chefs are completely needed and taken somewhat for granted. Show a little love to your Chef friends every once in awhile, but I strongly suggest never paying for any food - just provide the mats and get the service.
Horses should be time bound. Tack on the extra $3 or so, and you have about $12 a month to play a very good, if unpolished, game. That's quite reasonable if compared to any P2P title.
You have to be willing to learn and spend the time to learn in AoW. If you don't, expect to be perpetually poor and bad at PvP. This is a game for people that value intelligence and like getting rewarded for it.
Snail may not be winning any Golden Stars for customer service but it is a great game.

^ This.
I suspect that some of the people who are complaining are merely a veiled attempt at trying to ruin the reputation of AoW, because they don't like the ganking-vs-risk system in tis game since they just like ruining the game of the lowbies and care not about real pvp.
They don't like it when people try to become gamechangers.
I can swear that this company is the worst gaming company ever.
they got my account banned, reason being suspected for exploitation with third parties. i do not bot nor i do anything illegal. all that snail gm replied to me is that they have prove and they simply freezed my account permanently after i spent over 300 usd on this game and 2 months of effort to train my character up.
Their customer service and there standard operation procedure is crap and bullshit.
i've emailed to support@snailgamesusa.com, Accountadmin.support@snailgamesusa.com, Feedback.support@snailgamesusa.com. all the customer service i can get from snail. For all the 3 email addresses, i get replies from the same GMs! its either Scorch or Swift replying to me. There is no customer service expert personnels to handle cases and these 2 GM just kicking my issue away with one-sided replies. they do not listen to their customers at all. players have no say in the game at all. how can you get the same people to reply to your customers who emailed to supposedly different departments which handle different genre of cases. lack of manpower or lack of professionalism in the company?
Their "so called" customer service do not work during weekends. You can see announcement saying that staffs will be going for holiday break and no one to handle issues for a week. this just happened in july.
Adding on, my cash items that was issued in the game disappeared and the GMs never reply to my issues. you only get replies like once a day or the same over template replies. theres no human touch in the customer service. Gms are not sincere in handling the cases. seems like only 2-3 Gm around. it has been more than a month since my account got falsely accused and false actions acted on by the GM in the game.
check out Age of Wushu FACEBOOK PAGE. they tried to reach 10k Fans to like the page but the numbers isn't increasing at a good rate due to the poor service and management. I posted a feel negative comments and now they blocked my comments on facebook. not only me, 80% of the comments you see over there are negative.
i would SERIOUSLY ADVISE those who had not started the game with this company. NEVER start a game with this company.
We need a responsible and good gaming company to hold a good game to well deserved players to enjoy.
Originally posted by cronius77 no offense but what do you really expect from these third party companies ? Every one of them from Aeria to Gpotato are known slumlord companies that do not deserve a dime of profit and to close down. Gpotato is so bad even they come to this forum a couple of months ago to argue with some guy they banned and told people here about it. Dont give them money is all there is to it , and do not download their scam/addware games they data mine with. If a game company over seas are too cheap to pay a REAL distributor in the US or Europe to carry their game and handle transactions for them , obviously that company doesnt deserve your money either. Look at Archeage whom know they will have success here in America and they got Trion to distribute it a well known company known for fairness and customer service.
^this. its a bummer, but these companies aren't here because they love video games/gamers, they love money. othewise, they would be making games themselves.

P.S: Snail crawls really slow.
^this. its a bummer, but these companies aren't here because they love video games/gamers, they love money. othewise, they would be making games themselves.
Can't even wrap my head around this.
