Hopefully there would be pre paid game cards..
I just dont like it when they give the billing to some other company and wash their hands off of it. I like how games like EVQ2 and WOW has game cards so I can start playing and quit whenever I want ratherthan having to deal with some company that I never heard of..

For me that is one of FFXI's biggest flaws. Credit card and no pre-paid card option. I use a student Visa card which I wanted to get rid of but I am forced to hold onto it only because of the game. Even if they do have cards for RF Online I have no hope that they will come to my country (Greece).
CM is working on alternative payment way's. And GTC's is most likely the top choice on that.
Most top rated games got pre paid game cards. Thats what I think keep them at the top with big @$$ communities. Look at WOW for example. I live in Canada and I can just walk into a ebgames store and buy a card. Most my friends play WOW with cards. They dont have credit cards.. I just didnt get into that game when it came out or I would probably be playing that too..

Yeah here's a quote taken up from an official post, on the matter of payments. As stated on the bottom of that quote, they'll probably have game cards unless they come up with a really odd alternative.
"How will we be able to buy the game?
The game will be available to buy from shops, online stores and will come with the free month as standard with all MMO's. After this there will be a monthly subscription. Codies are also looking at alternative payment methods for people without credit cards."

It would be unfortunate if there were no pre-paid cards. I myself do not have, nor do I want, a credit card. I really don't believe that you should be "SOL" just because of that.
Fortunately, though, I have faith in Codemasters, and I know they will do everything in their power to do the right thing.

Up untill yesterday I thought there were only WoW prepaid cards in Greece,dinos_21. But I stumbled onto an online store with L2 cards as well. Guess we're advancing a little here too.
