SWG - You blame SoE, I put more blame on LA, they had creative final say, to make it short, LA says jump, SoE had to say how high imo. Game needed worked on, but it needed balancing/content. Comes in at #5
EQ2 - Didn't really play.
EQ - top 2 for me, disliked the instanced direction, but still had 6-8 years total of play time for me.
VG - Top 5 for me, they kind of ignored it, but it was also a jumbled mess of programming code supposedly that didn't lend itself to being fixed...Yeah they promised a relaunch long ago, but still a top 5 for me.
I have no PS1, have a PS2, it is 99% of the time a Blu-ray/Netflix player, not a big console player, I have stuff, but it is no where near the useage of my PC.
So yeah, I do not agree with everything SoE has done, but they are no worse than anyone else, couple that with people being involved in EQN that have been a part of 3 of my top 5 mmos, I do not feel the need to doom and gloom anything before I see it. I may dislike/hate what they do, I do not pretend to know otherwise, but I am going to stay positive, until I have reason not to be. I don't try to squeeze out meaning for the most part from cryptic tweets.

The game was re-done from scratch. They released that info. Didn't know they needed to meet your quota on information before a title is shown. They haven't released any information because they want to sell tickets to SoE live. And so what if it's not playable. Didn't know they needed to meet your quota on that too. How about you let them release a finished game instead of SoE releasing a Hot Mess like they did with Vanguard. Patience youngling.
Stylized is not the same as Cartoony. If you want cartoony check out Wildstar. Classes are most likely in but based on Dave Georgeson's remarks at Pax East there will be an ability for any class to do any role so lets wait and see how this plays out. Not as good as an open ended skill system I'll agree but I will put faith it works out based on those remarks at Pax. There will always be buffs and nerfs so lets just hope that the Beta Test goes smooth so we can get the majority of the balance done when it needs to be...in a beta.
Sandbox means open world, non-linear gaming PERIOD!
Subscription Gaming, especially MMO gaming is a Cash grab bigger then the most P2W cash shop!
Bring Back Exploration and lengthy progression times. RPG's have always been about the Journey not the destination!!!

SOE stated they could have shown the game at E3, but wanted to wait until their own event to show their fans the game first.
Also, you may want to check out SOE Live's EQN panel lineup...

Dude this is SOE !!! They ruined EQ1 , they ruined SWG , they ruined EQ2 , they ruined SWTOR .
There track record is not good man , I expect EQN to be the biggest failure in MMO history due to the hype this game has receive people are going to be crying so much its going to make history.

Yeah, can't be that they promised people that they would reveal it at their fan faire, that is expensive for most people to go to....Yeah couldn't be that they wanted to piss a lot of people off.
They have already said that information would come out fast once the reveal hit.
Smedley was giving out sexual favors at E3 to get best in show from 2-3 publications that were shown non-existant stuff?
Best in show doesn't mean much to me, as I do not like most mmo stuff coming out now, so it could be a bad thing for me, but I will have to wait and see.
Also, bringing something that they supposedly do not want people to see/copy out of the black box in a not even near alpha state makes zero sense.
Just say I wish SoE was swallowed into a black hole, Smedley first, hate is ok, just get it out there, don't hide it, don't be passive aggressive....Just proclaim it and own it.
Or greatness. EQ1 was ambitious and it was the gateway drug to MMO's. Before there was addictions in WoW. There was EverCrack!

SoE ruined EQ, like Blizzard ruined WoW, and EA ruined UO.... Companies make decisions to chase the customer/money, and many people end up not liking it, but it isn't a SoE thing.
Just to be fair, Blizzard was sitting on "Titan" for a long time, without releasing anything other than "yea, we're working on it". They were planning on announcing at Blizcon, but quickly backtracked and reset the project (much like how SOE did with EQN)

I wasn't bitching about SoE....People going to the event are paying good money, was saying if they released everything ahead of time, after people paid this money to be there for the reveal, they probably would not be happy.

SWTOR?....as much as I like to hate SOE....You need to go back and check...SOE had nothing to do with SWTOR, case in point, they were forced to kill SWG by Luca Arts so that .....EA could show how well they can bilk starwars fans.
