    OK I was wrong - I take complete responsibility and retract my statement.

    Its a kobold, it just doesn't look like the concept art kobold, they changed the art for kobolds and I was wrong.

    I am sorry, my mistake.

    It's actually not as bad as it seems if we take things into context. EQNext will be an entirely different game that's for sure, so we just have to be ready for it. In this particular universe of Norrath, Kobalds are reptilian-like creatures as portrayed in D&D, Firiona Vie is wielding a bow and has more of a paladin-type role, who knows what else is different....

    I cant wait to see what the Gnomes look like !!! if they don't have Gnome I probably wont even play hahah

     

    Everquest is all about the gnomes   been dreaming about New gnomes for a while now

    Well we know for sure that goblins will look very different than EQ goblins.

    Ogres look different, I have a feeling trolls will be very different.

     

    What really happened is someone pranked the devs by changing the names on the 'Goblin' file and the 'Kobold' file. They just finished making the game, its ready to be shown and they realized "Oh crap! Why is every Kobold mob being displayed as a Goblin?!"

    So yeah, Terry's tweet about us waiting to see what EQN goblins look like can only mean one thing...

    Furry, EQ Kobold looking goblins....

    There are 3 types of people in the world.
    1.) Those who make things happen
    2.) Those who watch things happen
    3.) And those who wonder "What the %#*& just happened?!"

    I don't care that they changed her role. I care she looks like she's holding jump rope with 80s glitter. And that the pauldrons and weapons are so big they had to draw massive hands on the characters to hold them. Everything looks dump and generic. Like a Facebook game's art.

    I'm more looking forward to certain people finding out that EQN isn't built from the ground up as a PVP game and PVP will be on separate servers.

    Yes a robust PVP system but PVE taking a back seat, yeah okay lol.

    There is ogers in there and we all know that gnomes were only put in EQ so ogers could have a snack after a good battle. So i am sure there will be gnomes in game.

    Forget the goblin/kobald/??? What I want to know is:

    1. What evil wizards breeding program turned Ogres into Eq Orcs.

    2. Who did FV facial reconstruction because its criminal. If someone did not label this is FV, I would never have guessed. 

    3. Is the sword that FV is carrying actually just the way "Epic end game" arrows will look or does she plan to actually shoot one handed while also wielding a sword?

    To me, that loks more like a Lizardman native to Feerrott than anything else.

    EQ Kobolds are dog-like creatures and are furry, they even bark.

    EQ Goblins come in a variety of shapes and colors, but I've never seen one in any game that has a tail.
