Prepare for A Realm Reborn FFXIV Beta Test
Thank you for signing up for the FFXIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Test!
We see that you weren’t selected in time to take part in the previous beta tests, but we’ve got some good news for you! If you use the below code to register before Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10:00 p.m. (PDT), you’ll be all set for the upcoming test phase!
The schedule for the final beta test will be announced at a later date on the FFXIV: ARR Beta tester forums and on other official channels.

Once your code is registered, hang tight! We’ll be sending out instructions in the future on how to download the software for the beta test.
Please note that this code will expire if not used before the July 30 deadline above. If your code is not registered before the expiration date but you still wish to participate in the final beta test, please reapply for beta access when the final test phase starts.

Weird, I got the one for PS3 but not PC. Hmm, probably just delayed somewhere in the interwebs. Whats funny is the PS3 one doesnt really have a point to it, lol. Its basically just an email to...
".. make sure you’re prepared for the upcoming final beta test, we wanted to let you know that we’ll soon be sending you a PlayStation 3 promotion code that will grant you access. You won’t need to sign up again, so just hang tight and we’ll deliver your code to you before the test begins!"
Basically and email telling me theyll be sending me an email soon, lol.
There should be 2 codes when the email comes, the beta key and the PlayStation voucher. The beta key will work for both PC and PS3 on the same account. I used it on the PS3 first and PC second and didn't have any issues.
I got the email too. I accidentally registered it to the wrong account :S
I have 2 SE accounts made in 2010, but I registered the key with the account that was never used to subscribe to FFXIV. FML. I hear they wont wipe phase 4 characters too. But I don't want to start on an account that wont give any perks. Drats
Also, I saw somewhere that said phase 4 would start around Aug 9th.
You scared me for a sec - I checked my email before coming to this site, so I knew there wasn't anything there - then I see the title of this thread...then I realize the email is only for people who weren't already in beta...phew.
This is a popular rumored (not confirmed) date because it was announced that there would be a 'letter from the developer' on August 8th and the date would be officially divulged at that time. It could be the 9th, or it could be up to a week after for all we know.
