Well as there is no agil in PnP, a higher strenght will likely be more beneficial to you. just up your strength to 18 and you will do tons of damage. If you are going to be using heavy armor then high dex won't be much advantage to you either. A good race for you would I think be either warforged or human.
I will be playing a Fighter to start with and then will probably play a bard and then rogue.
Ranger or Rogue. not sure yet. i love the idea of a using a bow from a distance, but also like the sneaky aspect of the rogue. tough call will have to think on that one.

The difrence between the fighter and barbarian is the ability to read... actually a barbarian gets a set list of class abilities, such as rage and other other brute type skills. The fighter on the other hand gets a lot of bonus feets, thus making the figher as unique as you are willing to make him.

But what I really want to play is a Druid, but that won't be happening anytime soon if ever.
whoever is an up close damage god, i wanna tear apart people with my sword.
Ater some thinking, I guess my 1st character will be a multiclass ranger/rogue.
I read the multiclass xp penalties will be eliminated, so that combination should make up for a good and useful dex build

any D&D PnP dudes know what a good build would be for an up close high agil dmg dealer would be?
