Someone talks for 5 minutes about opening a box to see what is in it.
Someone opens a box and explains in great detail about what was found in the box. This includes the packing materials.
Someone spends another 3 minutes telling the viewer about all of their other unboxing videos that are available to watch.
Why does anyone watch this shit?
No, I didn't watch it.

No thanks, I dont trust microsoft one bit. I dont even use windows unless its on someone elses machine. They were one of the first to allow Project Prism access to there data. Also the backdoors from the NSA built into windows. I know what I just said has nothing to do with the xbox one but its the same company and I dont trust what the connect is able to do (its reported that it can even measure your heartbeat) read the book 1984 by George Orwell if you want a taste of the future. I know this may seem like tin foil hat wearing talk. But we live in crazy times. Microsoft also places a patent on the kinect to allow it to display ads based on what it see's in the room. Look all this stuff up yourself.
Money talks...bull***t walks....I work at the local Walmart and just want to point out that almost ALL of the ps4 reserve tickets are gone not just from the store I work at but all around the area, while there are plenty of Xboxone reserve tickets left......
Not so sure Xbox one is as lame as we think.ms might use amd apu base but ms did not go to all the trouble of creating their own CPU version just to satisfy prism.out of the box would have been OK.when was the last time you saw 47 mb on CPU?me?never .even on server one CPU don't need 47 mb.and not any random .but the fastest.I don't sweat about Xbox one capability.but one thing ms will have to fix ,is my concern for cooling.I know only one type .and it was still just a demo.I doubt ms got that .if it had it would be outselling ps4 .people would know .since it isn't even avail for computer yet.

I believe the reason they added the 32 MB eSRAM is because they chose to go with the slower ddr3 system ram. APU are very RAM intensive. In my opinion they would have been better off going with gddr5. I dont see many servers that deal with heavy graphics loads so I assume the extra ram is GPU specific...
I am not a sony fan boy, but I do have to say that to me the ps4 looks better on paper. The last sony console that I owned was a ps1. I currently have a 360 that might as well exist only for rockband. I would say that if I do buy a new console, which is not likely, i would lean toward the ps4...

The idea is that the depth buffer and frame buffer (and frame buffer-like objects used in post-processing) get accessed vastly more than anything else that would normally go into video memory, so you put those in a 32 MB cache (which, not coincidentally, is what you need for 1920x1080) so that they don't have to touch system/video memory and you'll need far less bandwidth for system memory.
However, it leaves you a lot less flexibility. If you want to run a game at a higher resolution, or use stereoscopic 3D, or use supersampling, or do some peculiar post-processing such that you need an extra framebuffer worth of space, then suddenly you need more ESRAM than you have and performance craters. Even if you just want to rely a lot more heavily on large textures than is typical, so that you don't have such a large fraction of your memory accesses fitting neatly into a 32 MB space, you run into problems. Using GDDR5 in the PS4 avoids this entirely.
Now, in one sense, the big ESRAM cache means that the Xbox One is ahead of its time. Give it a few years and lots of GPUs will have perhaps 32-128 MB of GPU cache. If a 128 MB GPU cache would take 200 mm^2 today on 28 nm, that's the majority of your chip, so you basically can't do that. If it takes 50 mm^2 on a 14 nm process node, that's a lot more doable. If it takes 15 mm^2 on a 7 nm process node around the end of this decade, it would be stupid to have graphics chips that don't have that sort of L3 cache available. That's where we're heading; Nvidia has already announced it (Volta, due in 2016), while AMD is working on the same thing but just hasn't announced it. Indeed, Intel already has a product out that does exactly that, but it's insanely expensive and the only reason it came to market is that Apple wanted it.

Designed to match a '95 VHS recorder: Check :-(
Massive airflow grill on top so it wont stack: Check :-(
Mono-headset for "chat": Check... (Do they even realize how stupid it is?)
Bleeding edge hardware: Hmm nope... Beats the competition: Not really... Better pricing: Oh well...
Unsurprising, underwhelming: Pass!
We dont need casuals in our games!!! Errm... Well we DO need casuals to fund and populate our games - But the games should be all about "hardcore" because: We dont need casuals in our games!!! (repeat ad infinitum)

Yea, and its a liquid black 4K HDMI Cable.
lol it does resemble a VCR and with hdmi inputs no less. thing should pump out some nice 240p visuals.
