Found this kinda odd...

in Final Fantasy XIV

I usually play warriors that use 2 handed swords...i see the class with 2 handed axes but theres no classes that wield 2-handed swords? r they even in the game?

seems kinda odd for a final fantasy game...

    Dark knight class going to be 2h sword I believe when it comes out.

    No great sword or 2 handed sword in game yet, but I'm pretty sure Rune Fencer job will be added later on in game. Rune Fencer was added few months ago in FFXI and has great sword main weapon. Also scythe will be added as Dark Knight job. Patience and my favorite job will be there sooner or later Samurai.

    Perhaps, but i see it more as a tank.

    Hopefully they'll let us use multiple weapons similar to XI.

    I hate being locked into one weapon.

    Was one of the things that disappointed me at the original release, the game has a much smaller variety of weapons than XI.

    It'll probably expand with job additions in later expansions or whatever.
