I went from a 1950 x 1200, 24" Gateway monitor to a 2560 x 1440, 27" ASUS LED monitor recently. Every now and then I will get dizzy. What do you think is causing this?
Never happened when I went from my 21" tube monitor to my old 24" monitor.
Try setting back from your monitor by about another 9-12 inches.
Could also be FOV settings in whatever game your playing.
Playing Rift , Minecraft, CoD2 and wings of Prey. Rift does it more than the others. I'll try that, but my glasses don't work as well too far from the monitor.
As suggested but a little more detail. Try increasing the field of view settings if it's available. Decreasing FOV might make it worse. Using multifocal/bifocal glasses could also be the cause since the focal point changes if you don't move your head when looking to the side.
Might also try various height changes. Ergonomic recommendations are that the monitor top be approximately level with your eye height.
Games made on the Source engine usually do it to me before I increase the FOV
"I used to think the worst thing in life was to be all alone. It's not. The worst thing in life is to end up with people who make you feel all alone." Robin Williams
In my experience with the same issue, it has been choppy frame rate. At a rate that is good enough to detect motion, but not good enough for the eye. This is something around 14~24 fps. I would look at methods to increase the frame rate around 60 fps. Also eat healthy foods. Vegetables like carrots are really helpful.

Are you actually "dizzy" like unbalanced?
That could mean anemia too, I wouldn't blame my screen if you're actually feeling dizzy.
If it's only during gaming..ok.
