Yeah, the 7th level of hell is going to be a busy place looking at all the "alisaes" running around.

I did give a thumbs-up to Chuck Norris though - I didn't think he'd like a Final Fantasy game.

Quite honestly this is the first mmorpg launch I played were I haven't seen 1!!!!!! Sephiroth/xxSephirothxx/etc etc Cloud or legolas with weird symbols.

I'm afraid this doesn't quality for my definition of humor. But I don't have the mentality of a kindergartner.

Way to be totally inconsiderate of other players by using ripped off immersion destroying trash for an avatar name.

Way to show your (lack of) intellect and complete lack of creativity.

Way to show zero respect for the MMORPG genre or Final Fantasy lore.

Ever heard of the "idiot flag" ? The only positive out of this is that people who give their avatar names like this identify themselves as fools to be avoided.

I'm hoping that since this is supposedly a premium game with a sub and good support that players like this get forced name changes.

If you don't care, you can at the very least have marginal respect for the game and people around you and randomize your name - do something to have no impact instead of negative impact.

eh, these kind of names are no worse than 'Shadow Stalker', 'Black Doom' ,'Silent Whispers' etc etc.

but yeah if you wanted it to be easier to remember for others, it most likely will be easier than some generic fantasy, asian, or elf sounding name.

I probably wouldn't have said it so rudely, but I do completely agree about the stupid names. I've always felt like these companies should have someone whose specific job is to hang around and monitor character names and force changes on ridiculous ones.

Side note: I'm wondering if "Xbox One" would be considered a form of copyright infringement that they'd have to change to protect their own interests, not just because it's idiotic.

Sorry did i just enter China where you are forced to do what is right for everyone else, or did they chose to play a game that is their free will.

Are these names offensive / racist / sexist / abusive . No NO NO NO NO in which case they can do what they like, whilst the people they represent might not be to our taste it is not our call to insist on naming convention.

The game world would be a lot better if people who didn't consider themselves so righteous as to slander how / who anther player wants to play

Boys / Girls here is a solution, don't like the toon name then follow the 2nd post example lock (feel free to copy that an add to macro)

Other than that, what in the good gawd gives you right to preach about another players name???

When i play Mmo i refuse to use numbers in my name, don't like it, In Eve i will not buy any toon that has a silly name or numbers in their name, I don't like it, but i don't log onto a forum and whine, i just pass them by and leave them to it,

Now if you please get of your holier than thou pedestal and leave them to it
