are you kidding ive been trying to log in all day, my last day off till friday and i cant play at all.
Consider yourself lucky.
Im part of the crowd that hasn't received the game code to register the game yet. Not even an email confirming the purchase (though they have taken my money from my account)
No info from anyone official as to whats going on...reports of people waiting days and weeks to get their code.
Not looking good right now...server issues aside...they are basically taking peoples money now and then stiffing them on the code the purchased...assuming they will give codes when its convenient for them...however you get reports that some people just bought the game and got the code...so it doesn't make much sense.
For the love of god...if you are at all interested in this game WAIT....its not worth the issues right now and you are pretty much guaranteed to give them your money in return for nothing not even the ability to download the game (never mind the early access you probably want...)
Im going to give them until launch day to give me the code I purchased...if nothing by then im just going to do my first ever game charge back. Support seems to have come to a standstill as well...not expecting my ticket to get attention this week.
Been trying every 10-15 mins for the last 3 hours - nothing here...sometimes it says it can't find the NA/EU server list, other times it lets me try to log in with my character just to get a 'world full' error - one time after having me sit in a queue.
Those playing now are the lucky ones...
Agree. I'm in the same boat. I also think that anyone who does get it is not going to be logging out (or, rather, a lot won't, and will just go AFK for a bit if needed), so unless they start lifting the caps, it's going to be few and far between who are not in now who are going to be able to get in.
The problem with game codes shouldn't be happening anymore. If you buy from the Square Enix store, you get the access key and preorder registration instructions right on the confirmation page after completing the order. Backup emails are sent out to repeat everything, but they are unnecessary. I was playing the game a couple hours after purchasing yesterday morning. I have no idea what they were doing before that though.
Please don't start with the "I WANT A REFUND" whiney crap.
At least wait until the game goes actually live, you didn't pay for early access, it was a free gift from Square Enix when you bought the game (That doesn't launch until the 27th)
same lol, loaded to another zone, kicked me out with error 9000 and now broke again. Sigh.. at least I am getting a lot of house work done :P
When North Americans are sleeping and Europeans are not up yet. But only during weekdays... or when they fix their problems. Can't give you a date on that one thoug.
