We complain about game, and THEY redid everything! AMAZING graphics and STORYLINES! They definatly fixed it!
Pre-codes they fixed within one day and BEFORE access started
Log in issues, just this morning they FIXED it, in just ONE day!!
This game is going FUll AAA on my list!!!

Duty finder issues are gone. I think login restrictions are still there, but I haven't had issues getting in.

But that said, so far today the NA server I first joined has been humming along as smoothly as the Japanese server I played on yesterday.

No 1017 here all morning (not that it's even an error, it just means the server is full), and I can make characters on 70% of the servers. Must be unlucky. May not be fixed but it's most assuredly better.
Any graphical, audio, or gameplay restrictions not seen in other mmos but found in FFXIV can be blamed on one thing.

I dint know there was any Disconnecting, atleast not for me, and the duty finder works 100% at the moment they must have did that last night too.
The log in restrictions are gone and they fixed the congestion problems last night also. As of this morning none of my guildies got the 1017 error and logged in 100% fine.
I'd say, don't listen to every naysayer, you can play at launch, a que of 100 only takes less then three mins to get into the game and the duty finder has been working all day for my parties atleast. Everything is polished besides those two things.
Everyone wants to predict doom and gloom, but really, I'm already 18 and had no problems except for last night, but they fixed that already. Its not bad enough to ruin your in game experience one bit.

I doubt it,you see this is office hours,the big shots that pull the purse strings are at work,release was on weekend and they don't work weekends.I am sure there will be more servers today and no more que ues by official launch.
D/C's happen in all game's,i get them once a day in FFXI.Could be worse ,could be SOE announcing server maintenance every single day.D/c's are because of connection is timed out between you and server.That can happen for any reason including packet loss which can also happen at busy internet hours.Square Enix does not own their own Networking,internet business,they rely on the internet just like we do.
