solution to not being able to login......

in Final Fantasy XIV

Why do they not just bring down the servers for 30 minutes every night at a specified time to kick all the perma AFK people?

Make it like 4:30AM server time or something.......

    Intentionally logging people out when they've done nothing to violate the terms and  conditions of use in a game that they have paid, yup, that will make this company popular.

    Because anyone with half a brain will use an auto clicker to stay active while they afk.

    It doesn't fix the problem, it wont fix the problem, and the world isn't chalk full of afk people...people that are on are playing...so even implementing something like this isn't going to make any amount of difference.

    You think they can code this in and patch it without issue faster than the few days its going to take to get those new servers online?  I doubt it, they might as well put that programming effort towards something better.
