Timber and Stone - Recommendation/Currently Streaming

Sup all,

Currently found a new game to keep me busy for a little bit. It's called Timber and Stone, strongly resembles Mine Craft but with much more depth.

It's a survival/base building game with the same principals as minecraft, find materials/survive and most of all BUILD.

I'm currently streaming the game you can drop in and ask me some questions and check out the game play if you'd like. twitch.tv/grumpyguido

Looks pretty interesting! Does it give players the freedom to design their own structures like minecraft though?

+1 to this. This game is awesome. Basically Minecraft with squad based gameplay.

Yes I have a dream… And its not some MLK dream for equality. …I wanna own a decommissioned lighthouse …And I wanna live at the top… And nobody knows I live there. …And theres a button that I can press, and launch that lighthouse into space.

Yes. Rather than manually placing the blocks, you select their locations (like drawing a blueprint) and your Builder unit builds it if you have the materials. You select the material and it's placed where you want it.

I've only played a little, so I can't say anything about mid-game gameplay, but at first glance, this is like having control of a team of players in Minecraft. Everything you do is still done by hand, block by block, it's just that you tell a unit to do it, rather than doing it yourself.
