I recently upgraded my gpu from a 560ti to a GTX 760, and my monitor from a 20" LCD to a 27" LCD in HD. I updated my copy of TW2 having beaten it shortly after launch and not touched it since. I set the sucker to MAX and OMFG it's GORGEOUS!! It looks very 'next-gen', I'm using a controller this time which is like the icing on the cake.
What a difference a few upgrades can make.
Oh and GW2 is even prettier now.

Nice one.
I recall the difference as well with Witcher 2 when i upgraded, what a beautiful game it is even several years later.
Can't wait for Witcher 3
I loves me some role playing games and the witcher 2 at the cut scenes ,my mouth was hanging open so good it looked.
not a easy game you have to play regularly .
Check this leaked TW3 video. The forest in the thunder, fucking amazing. Simply one of the best game series ever exist.

Holy damn, that forest looks majestic
Hum. My 560 TI could always handle the Witcher 2 at full blast. With the exception of super sampling. If I turned that on my system was brought to its knees and begged me to make it stop.
Still! Beautiful game. I'm holding out on upgrading my system until Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk 2077 comes out. It depends on how well my current rig handles Witcher 3.

It was similar for me as well, but now I have super sampling on - and I can see details a whole lot better thanks to the new monitor.
Picked Witcher 2 up at a steam sale a while ago but have yet to play it. I am for certain that The Witcher 2 cinematic is one of my all time favorite cinematics. Check it out if you've never seen it before.
