The Acolytes are recruiting for EverQuest Next!
Who are we?
The Acolytes were founded in 2004 with the basic principle of creating a strong, social gaming community. Since then we've offered many outlets for our members to enjoy their time together as a community. That could be grouping together doing a dungeon or playing a drinking game on mumble. Currently we have supported chapters in 4 MMO’s including EverQuest Next. We offer a chance to join a Guild that won’t troll it's members or self destruct over night. Our membership has been strong for over 9 years and it continues to grow each day.
What are we doing to address your needs?
The Acolytes are currently working to place experience leaders to run the EverQuest Next chapter prior to launch. These leaders have spent hundreds of hours working together to create the best environment for our member base. The leadership group is in constant contact and work as one to continue the success of the branch. In past games, the environment of the guild that these leaders have created has had a positive impact on entire server communities.
Recruitment Status
The Acolytes are currently recruiting for all positions, which includes:
- New Applications for Membership
- Council (Jr. Officers)
- Officers
What we plan to offer members:
- Guild hosted events
- Farming groups
- Dungeon groups
- Organized Raiding
- A great community
- Active leadership
- Experienced players to help all levels of gamers
- And much more - pending additional details of the game
The most important thing in any MMO is that guild members are having fun. Acolytes are a zero/low drama guild of friends who like to spend time online together. We have every type of player ranging from casual 5 hours a week to hardcore 50 hours a week, and the important thing is that we all log into a great game and have a great time together.
Leadership will do everything we can to ensure the quality of the Acolytes brand, because we are more than just another guild. We will be respected by our allies. We will be feared by our enemies. This is the last guild that you will ever need.

The same guild leadership team leading the EverQuest Next chapter of the Acolytes, lead a massive event in GW2 this weekend. There was drinking, there was singing in mumble, there was a 30+ person guild RP event followed by a 30+ person organized PvP event. We plan on doing these same types of guild events in EverQuest Next!
Acolytes are like a bar full of friends and family. I've been with them for 4 years and there's no way I would ever imagine leaving. If you're looking for a guild full of cool people, check us out!

The Acolytes are currently recruiting new members to the Guild. If you would like to become a member now is a perfect time to apply.
Also, we have reached the halfway point of our Wintersday in July week long Role Playing event. We have received a lot of positive feedback from the community!
We decided to play some Everquest 2 before EQ Next comes out. Feel free to jump on the server Crushbone and play with us. We are going to make a temporary Guild so we can easily find one another.
Everyone is having a lot of fun jumping back down memory lane.

I've been playing these games since Ultima Online. Until now I've never found a guild that I've wanted to stick with from game to game and believe me, I've played a lot of games since UO.
The maturity level of our members has created a drama free environment for all skill levels and play styles. Let me stress that by maturity I don't mean we're serious all the time. On the contrary, we have plenty of goofy nights like our drinking game nights and the guild events that we host, what I do mean is that we respect each other as human beings and create real friendships in virtual worlds.
Believe me when I say you owe it to yourselves to get to know us and enhance your gaming experience by having skilled players and more importantly, good people to enjoy all future games with.
With no release date in sight for EQN the Acolytes are currently playing Everquest 2 on the server Crushbone. We will also have a presence on EQN Landscape when that launches later this year. Come join us as we all get very excited for EQN!

We were in the middle of a hosting company move. We have moved to a new host for increased speed an use of our forums. Many enhancements coming for the community as a whole. If you are interested in EQNext then Acolytes will definitely fill what you are looking for from a large active guild.
