Why the huge penis with black condom ad on site?

I was just reading along in Bill Murphy’s latest article and low and behold an off site ad about Saints Row IV banned in Australia represented by a naked guy’s lower half with a big black condom clad penis appeared. Isn’t that just a little much guys or have you finally admitted a porn addiction? Not even the Scarlet Blade ads were that bad. I thought it was hilarious in the wrong kind of way but it is what it is and you can represent yourselves how you want but it is something you might want to think about for your image's sake...

Do yourself a favor and install the browser add-on "Adblock Plus".
Since mmorpg.com goes above and beyond to rape your eyes with advertising that eludes typical filters, you will require one additional procedure.
Click the Adblock Plus > Filter Preferences > Custom Filters > right-click Ad Blocking Rules > Show/ hide filters > Add filter > copy/paste the following line:

These are not really ads - but links to articles on other sites on the web through a service called "Crowd Ignite." We don't have direct control over what icons/links appear here - and our own articles are promoted on other sites within this network. We do not make direct revenue from these links, rather we get reciprocal traffic from other sites in the network.
We are going to share your objections to this particular image as well as our own with CrowdIgnite. Hopefully they can remove or change it.
Thank you for your feedback, and as always we strongly discourage you from using ad blocking tools as they are slowly leading to the death of the free Internet we all depend on.

How dramatic. Might I just say that whilst a lot of users have whitelisted MMORPG.com on their adblock because they wish to help, it's things like these that actually encourage people to adblock even their favourite sites.
Let's be honest, "Crowd Ignite" is a pretty intrusive and deceptive way to get traffic and I believe that if you are not making any revenue by it I wouldn't want to support it since it doesn't support your site from my part. Not to mention the massive amount of malicious sites possibly displayed by "Crowd Ignite". Although, that said, I still agree that adblock is a terrible means to an end but my point remains. You're justifying people's use of adblock when using such services that you cannot control.
We actually put a strong emphasis on ensuring our ad policy is as least disruptive as possible. You can read about it here. We go out of our way to restrict many ad types from use that would probably help us out more, but annoy you guys just as much, because we really do care about your browsing experience here at the site.
As far as your comment there goes, this is our Site Suggestions forum, so instead of just adblocking us when something like this comes up, we really do appreciate people just bringing it up so we can possibly address the issue. We'll do our best to ensure that your experience here is as least disruptive as possible.
We aren't going to tell you that you cannot adblock us, but please do understand that it has very real impact on our ability to provide you guys with the daily content and other features of the site you love when these tools are used. I'm not going to call anyone out for it; it's your browsing experience, you are free to do what you want, but please do keep that in mind.
My general impression is that the 'free internet' is being held hostage by advertisement agencies using obnoxious, intrusive and shady methods (I was going for hyperbole yes). The current relation between the ad business and website admins will never be catering to the browsing end user. And as long as website admins don't get fully control about shown ads in a way that they can prevent malicious code or intrusive ads (atm they can only react after the fact), you can expect that many users will look for solutions that prevent ads from showing at all.
The ad business doesn't care about the end users' browsing experience. The web admins do obviously. So the only way to gain back control about ads and how it affects browsing experience, is for web admins to make sure that the ad business meet their demands about that. No clue though how you would achieve that. Web admins, Unite!
I understand that this puts websites between a rock and a hard place. You need to show that ad crap to stay alive while knowing that many visitors will hate it. The only real solution is if the ad business adapts. But atm they don't seem to see a reason for that. End users will never be forced to endure intrusive ads for long though. Even if adblock gets bypassed at some point, new plugins will pop up to deal with that.
I think we can all agree, though, that truly inappropriate or intrusive ads are far less common here than most top gaming sites.
I don't know whether it's vigilance or wizardry that they employ to accomplish that, but there are far less gold seller, 'mature' and visually disruptive ads here than many other popular, high traffic sites.
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

As I mentioned above, it's part of our ad policy.
Actually, 95% of the ads on our site are booked directly with us and not through networks - we only use networks for remnant ad inventory (ie, that space which we don't sell).
The images mentioned at the start of this topic are not really ads - but more like a traffic sharing thing. We have contacted the source and they have agreed to set our account to a G rating as opposed to the PG-13 we were apparently setup as.
As Mike was saying - we have very strict ad policies here. No pop ups, no expanding ads, no ads with audio, no ads for gold selling or powerleveling and all ads must be gaming related. We could make a lot more revenue if we allowed these kinds of advertisement - but we want to keep the ads as unobtrusive and relevant as we can.
Again, thank you for your feedback on this - we need this to keep improving the advertising here.
